Would you be interested in working as a text operator?

I have just applied for a job and had my application put through, and now have the job. I am nervous, because I know my boyfriend doesn't like it, but a job is a job. The pay is 8p per text message you send, and the messages can differ as to whether the customer wants just to chat, or to have an adult conversation.
Would this ever be of interest to you?

This doesn't sound legitimate to me. Do you mean text messages on cell phones, or an IM chat? Are you sending messages to people who signed up to receive them, or just sending them randomly? Sorry, but I really wouldn't want any part of this, and that is saying a lot considering I've been looking for a job for 5 months.

hi there, Jamton..
the times are tough and we all need to get a decent job to get by these days.
i'm just wondering.. just what do you mean by 'adult conversation'?

I have never heard of this profession before. When you say "adult conversation," do you mean the kind of conversation someone has while talking on a 1-900 phone call? I don't know if I could do that. I am shy about stuff like that. And my b/f would not only dislike it, he would forbid it. As I would him. I definitely wouldn't want him talking to another girl, whether it was for a job and didn't mean anything or not.

That makes sense. Let him talk too. The person on the other end has no way of knowing who they are talking to. LOL. I like the concept. If I wasn't so shy, I think I could definitely do it. Sounds like easy money to me.

Hi jamton, it all depends on how broad minded you are...this sort of job is not for everyone, but personally I see nothing at all wrong with it....they are only text messages...what's the harm in that? I would definitely be interested in this myself. Could you pm me the site details? Thanx

I have actually really thought about this. How is it working for you? I am extremely interested in your experience with this, as I would maybe like to do it in the future. If you don't mind, would you private message me the details of your job.

Hi Jamton i think I know why your bf is against this job, any bf would be... 8p i guess thats 8 pence a msg.. i dont know how many you got to send but to be very fair i dont know how hard conditions are there in ur country but bf usually dont like their girls do this kind of job.

Oh I completely understand why my boyfriend does not like this job, but he is completely accepting of my current state of financial difficulty, and as long as I keep no secrets and only use it when he is there he doesn't mind. You are basically having a conversation, so you have no set limit of messages to send. You have to have made £1 before you can get paid, but at 8p a message that means you have to send approximately 13 texts to be able to get paid. Both me and my partner think it is a good idea as long as he is involved.

I've looked into this in the past, but I was living in a small town in an income-based apartment and having to reveal that job was too embarrassing. But now I live in a normal apartment where the whole town won't find out what I'm up to, haha.
But I'm very afraid of getting scammed or wasting time on something that isn't legit.
My boyfriend is cool with it, in fact, he was okay with me doing cam work. I'm too shy for cam and phone stuff, though. But I can send texts all day.
What are some legit companies?

I would like to receive the information for this. Can you message me the information? I don't see anything wrong with this. Especially because it will make you money and you are not entitled to have to sit on the phone speaking with the customer. This sounds like a great job! Congrats on your hiring. Please PM me on the matter, and good luck with your new position. Happy MyLotting!

I have thought about doing that myself, I have not signed up for any programs yet, but to me a job is a job. I have thought about doing a 900 call girl too but I do not have a home phone so I cannot do it at this time. What site did you hook up with? You can add me as a friend and let me know that way. I am intreseted in it if I can do it through my cell phone. Let me know thanks happy mylotting as well.
