an indian movie got an oscar award..i want to check his ability it or not...

There was an Indian co-director Loveleen Tandan, but I suspect that this was Danny Boyle's movie from beginning to end and he is British. It was a really good film no matter who directed it and it deserved its Oscars. It was the best picture out of the ones nominated.

The man who made the movie is actually from England. I don't think it is considered an Indian movie. It is a movie about an Indian, but technically it was made by a Brit.

I dont know if the credit for the movie totally to the Indians as the director was Brit...but for the music scored in the film, hats off to A. R. Rehman for getting two oscars to India

I watched Slumdog millionaire and find the film very impressive. It has a good storyline and it talks about struggles, compassion and dreams. It is not a solely Indian film because the Director and some of the production staff are British and Americans, though the stars are Indians and shot in Mumbai, India, but hardly considered an Indian film. They truly deserved an Oscar, and the 8 awards out of their 9 nominations are justifiable.
