As for me I can say yes I am, because I find many shows on TV now lack originality, and many of the hot TV shows that people are talking about seems like one big soap opera a whose sleeping with who if you will. I've gotten to the point where I watch very selective things like Monk , Burn Notice , and anima I like to watch shows that are smart and witty with complex characters. I like Burn Notice , because it's the situations the characters go through seems impossible to overcome ,but yet some who they do using what all three characters know best. With Monk I just love the angle of the detective, he suffers through Obsession compulsive disorder and the crimes he solves and they why he solves it. With anime I simply love their storyline and the complexity of their characters and the fact that it's animated makes it even more awesome. So my questions to you mylotters is are you fed up with the programs on TV if so what about it don't you like and what shows do you watch that you feel are interesting and original in concept idea?

Hi misslovelyfiles - You are sooo right! I barely even watch TV anymore. I'd watch it even less if it wasn't for my husband & son watching it when they're home, so I sometimes watch just because they are. The only one I really look forward to watching each week is "Chuck". I think it is hilarious. I've never watched Burn Notice before but maybe I'll have to check it out since you said it is good. Hope you have a nice day!

Chuck? what's that show about? Well with Burn Notice I think you will like it it's very exciting show. It's a shame though there use to be a time when you can find a variety of shows with different idea, but I guess know a days it's all about the rating show if TV execs see a formula work they will continue to feed it to us until they can turn it into a reality TV show I guess LOL. Tell me what channel is Chuck on and I'll check it out.

I watch very little television. 24, Grey's Anatomy and House are about the only things I watch. Occasionally I'll watch Scrubs, too. TV now seems to be about reality shows, talk shows and game shows, all of which bore me to tears.

Same here I mostly watch anime and the shows I've listed above. It seems like you really like medical shows. Yeah and little people know is that reality TV shows is more fake and unrealistic then regular TV have you seen he credits after the show ends, Those type of shows are really boring to watch and they really have stereotypical characters. If you see one game show, reality TV or talk show you basically seen them all
