How much too much?

When I work, I sleep between 6.5 and 7 hours a night. When I wake up I feel awful, unrested and grumpy. When I don't have to work I sleep way too much.... approximately 11-12 hours.( I still wake up feeling unrested) I was on Lyvoxil for thyroid disfunction ( underactive). My meds were d-c'd after a positive blood test... could it be possible that my thyroid is out of whack again? Do any of you have similar symptoms... and if so what was your diagnosis? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Get your blood sugar tested. One usually feels unrested even after a long sleep because of high diabetese. Try checking it out. Hope you feel better. Ciao.

Hi. Getting adequate sunlight and exercise can help. But there is a technique that really seemed to "cure" my similar problems. It may sound strange to you though. It is a way to simulate your pineal gland which is in your brain - kind of between your eyes. Some cultures refer to this as "the third eye".
Anyway, you sit looking towards the sun, with your eyes closed. Then say "thoe" rhymes with "toe", but extend the sound for a long time - like thoooooooooooe until you hit a frequency that vibrates your nose and between your eyes. Keep trying different tones until you can really feel the vibration. Do this every 24 hours for three days.

Hello xsgirl03,
I am exactly like you are. when i was working i was sleeping 6-8 hours but still was so hard to wake up,
and if there is nothing to do next day i can sleep hours and hours more if no body wakes me up. But nowadays i am pushing myself to wake up early so i feel sleepy at the night time and go to bed early.
It seems like it is working for now

take some time for fun outside of door. make yourself feel free or relaxed.
enjoy some vegetable and fruit,less oil and salt.
however,the best way is to be addicted in your work and take is easy.it'nothing~~
