Well I perfer watching television then reading books. I normally dont read books mainly because im either on the internet or watching tv or playing videogames. I just dont really like to read that much I use to love it as a kid but stopped when I got my first laptop since that pretty much took up all my time lol.

Yeah, being on the computer takes up the time that we should have spent reading books. I am currently trying to read a book and do mylot at the same time. LOL. Not really working though. :)

I read more than I watch. It's easier for me to pass time reading plus I think it helps me with dealing with stress. TV just has too much stimulus. For me anyway.

Yeah, ways of dealing with stress. That's a good one.

For me, it depends. If there's like a really good and exciting show, I'd prefer to watch the TV. But, if there's nothing good to watch, then I might read a book or something. But, the thing is I don't buy books regularly and if I have a new one, I get so excited and I would finish it in less than a week. So, that's basically my situation

I prefer reading. I've always been more of the reader than the person, who watches television. I do sometimes watch television, but it's more to watch my favorite television shows, or something to that effect. For some reason, I've never been the type of person, who has been really interested in watching television, as a kid. Growing up, I was more of a reader than the child who watches TV.

As a child, I was more on the television side, but as I grow up, I am now more on the reading side.

Hi Bubblyapple, I enjoy both; but if required to make a choice, I would take reading books. Moreover I can bring a book anywhere to pass the time, especially if it's going to be a long wait, such as at the airport, the doctor or so on.

I wouldn't travel without a book with me. It is such a handy especially if you're waiting at the airport.

I do both at the same time. I read while watching TV, in that way I do not feel guilty of doing nothing. There's this saying that If you want to do more watch less TV I could not do that because I love watching TV. Tv is my life so in order not to be guilty I read while watching.I'm that weird hehehe.

Not weird at all.

Reading books, definitely. I was raised in a household of bookworms, so while we have a few television shows that we like to watch, I usually prefer to pull out a book to read instead of turning on the TV... Or, if I DO turn on the television, it's often for background noise if the radio isn't playing any good music or I don't feel like playing anything from my computer.

There are times that I do the same as well. Sometimes I use television or radio as background noise or sometimes as a short distraction from reading, if I've been on the book for quite a while.

I must say that I quite perfer reading, you see watching tv after a while is mindless but getting lost in a book there is so much more chance to use your imagination and invision things that go on as you perceive them instead of being forced to see things in a certain way as they do on television!

I prefer reading a book as well. Although once in while, I watch television too.

it depends really, sometimes i really don't feel like concentrating and reading a book so i'll just turn to the tv. i don't really have to think and really focus at the moment, but don't get me wrong im definitely an avid reader! love it!
