Do you like tea some seasons more than others?

I've found that I actually prefer tea in the summer, rather than winter..and while I think they may be somewhat odd, I think it's because of my love having small picnics or tea times as rewards to myself for a hard day's work...and that's typically been a possibility for me, in the summer. Is it different KINDS of tea for some seasons more than others? I tend to like my head-ache tea (something I make myself out of clover flowers and ground ivy leaves) in the summer, more than winter...even though my stress levels are pretty much the same all year round. Whereas green tea I don't mind any time.

I love hot tea in the fall, winter and spring then I change to cold tea in the summer although I do enjoy a hot cup on a stormy day. I like the black teas, assam and oolong are good. I'm not a big fan of green tea but I've recently begun to like white tea flavored with peach and ginger. And I never, ever pollute my tea with cream or sugar!

I have to have my cup of tea every morning , and a glass of ice tea every day all year long ! I like a mint herbal tea in the morning with 2 or 3 plain cookies when I first wake up . It gives me enough energy for my morning walk . When I get home from walking I make breakfast . I make a pot of regular tea every day for ice tea . Ice tea is always good !

I like tea more when it's generally colder than normal. Rainy days are often a good time to drink tea - it's so much better to drink tea than just hot water to warm myself up. I also prefer freshly brewed tea compared to those in tea packets because they taste better. I found out that my favorite is the barley tea they serve in a Korean restaurant in the mall :) Thanks for the response on my discussion :)

Well, I don't like iced tea or cold tea at all. I prefer to drink tea during winter time. Nice and hot - but not too hot - with a bit of honey so it's sweet and also helps my throat because due to the heated air indoors it becomes dry and my throat get irritated easily. I am not a big fun of tea, although I do enjoy it at times. But usually only during the winter time :)

I usually don't drink tea that often, but when I do, I will drink Russian Chai any time of the year. It's made with Russian Black Tea (MUCH stronger than Lipton or the Indian teas) with a spoon of either black currant or elderberry jam as a sweetener. I will also drink it from a clear glass cup instead of ceramic or plastic.

I've gotten addicted to green tea and there's nothing that I like better in the evening in the winter than a cup of green tea. In the summer, I like iced tea and particularly like to brew a bit of sun tea. When I'm major stressed (like now) there's nothing that I find more relaxing than a cup of chamomile tea.

I like cold tea all year round. Just don't get into hot tea much, even in winter. I'd like to try dandelion tea. I hear it's good for coughs. But I never have. I do like hot mint tea sometimes, after working outside in freezing weather.

Although I enjoy drinking tea all year round, I think I prefer drinking tea in the fall and winter seasons, when it's cold, or at least getting colder. Sometimes, I just need something to warm me up, when I get in, from the very cold outdoors. Drinking tea certainly helps me to warm up. It feels really nice.

I like tea all year. In the summer though I usually don't find myself sipping on hot tea, I change to iced (black or green). I would really like to try your homemade tea for headaches, not sure if I can access ground ivy leaves here in Egypt, is it something you buy at a health food store? For nausea during my pregnancy I have found myself also making my own homemade tea. A combo of ginger, mint leaves, and lemon juice.
