Who else would like to see this feature added to Mylot?

I have only been a member for about 5 days now, so most of the discussions I have started haven't exactly got an overwhelming number of responses. One I started a few days ago does have 30 responses, which is very exciting to me. I feel proud to have achieved this already. Anyway what I noticed was a lot of the responses would generate somewhat of a similar response from me(no I don't just mean a "Thank You"), something along the lines of updating everyone on my situation. So I wish Mylot had a feature like Ebay(best comparison I can come up with), one that allows you to update your original posted content. I.E. angela_allen added the following info on date xxx at time xxx. Then everyone who responded to the discussion could be alerted. (not only friends) This way you wouldn't need to make lots of individual responses with the same information. Don't get me wrong if someone writes something I like I would still want the option to individually respond as well. Anyone else like this idea? Not sure if Mylot reads these as suggestions or not... Who sees flaws in my idea?
