A 4 year old boy was honored yesterday for saving his mom's life by calling 911 when she collapsed while making him lunch. Sources say if he hadn't called, she would have died.
Listen to the whole emergency call:

We had a similar situation in our area. Kids are amazing these days and parents who teach these kids what to do need big time credit! The kid in our area was singing his address to the 911 operator. She asked him where he lived and in that cute kid voice he starts singing the spelling of their address. When my daughter gets to that age she will definately learn the same way this boy did for those just in case emergencies! I love how he just kept repeating will you come straight over here.

Aw! I have to teach my little sister that! Kids are amazing when they want/get the chance to be.

It's really amazing how kids can handle these kind of situations so calmly. They just go right to what they are taught. Every once in a while you'll hear a similar story, where there is a sick parent and they train there kid to call emergency services if something happens and the kids pulls through.
The most amazing story I heard was a woman was having a hypoglycemic reaction while she was driving with her son. She managed to pull over before she became unresponsive. The little boy, who i think was 5 or 6, got out of his car seat, went in mom's purse, got her cell phone, called for help and was able to describe where they were so that the police could locate the car. They were found in time and the mom recovered.

Wow, he managed to pull the car over to the roadside? I don't even want to think about what I'd do if I were to get caught in a situation like that!

But, worse case scenario, God forbid he was left alone with one person in the house and something were to happen? I guess we should always be prepared no matter what!
Have a good day!

FROM AUDIO AND VIDEO
Yeah, I heard the entire 4 minutes conversation done between 911's staff and a "hero boy - TJ" and watched the 2.29 minutes video. Thanks for providing. Where, while on the phone the 911's staff was asking TJ whether his mother lay down on her back or stomach. TJ keep saying his mother now on the floor. He also mentioned that his mom asked him to call for 911 help. The staff also asked TJ to open the house door and he will send help party to TJ's home. What a tragic moment when seemed there was TJ's mom's voice at the 3/4 audio running time and the 911's staff keep on asking "Who are you?", unfortunately left not replied. A true hero boy named "TJ".
LESSON AND LEARN ~ AN EXAMPLE
A very good lesson for me to learn regarding emergency and help. Yes, I've trained my kids how to manage and handle any emergency situation with their one push button on their cellphone and landline phone that I've stored earlier and how to make use of it. But, anyhow do hopes and pray everything will be just fine.

Yes, and I don't think we have to really teach the younger ones to remain calm (even though that wouldn't hurt), but once they start getting older, they start thinking about the situation more and would probably panic. I am embarrassed to admit it, but I know I probably would.
