Eating Tarantulas

No. I do not know any people that eat tarantulas, I would imagine they would be dangerous, aren't the supposed to be poisonous?

I do know people eat these things. Hmm...must be crunchy for them but it's yugs for me. I have also seen documentaries and received emails from friends about people in other countries eating strange food like worms, fried crickets. A few years ago I went to Thailand and was taken to a night market. There were a few stalls selling stick food. Like fry some nuggets poke it on a stick. but in this case were strange insects all fried, roasted poked on sticks. It's a delicacy to them but hoyo...not to me. It's just yucks !!!

I have never heard of anyone eating a tarantula. The mere thought of it is rather gross. Anyway, there does not seem to be much meat on those things.

Hi Chevee, YUKEE!!!!! i couldn't eat those those things, beside I would feel sorry for them, the touble with humans is when it moves, eat it. The poor things . Hugs. Tamara

And there are people who eat tarantulas, I thought it's just part of the Fear Factor that I recently watched. The first Filipino episode of Fear Factor the last 2 games included eating tarantula and that's the first time that I heard and saw a tarantula. JUst by watching it, I can't imagine that I can eat it so what more if people realyy eat that regularly.
