^_^ Howdy people of myLot!....
I don't logout in myLot every time I close my web browser. So, then if I want to go every time in myLot I don't have to login anymore.
Basically I'm the only one using this computer.
I'm wondering is it safe always doing that? or Whatever? so What do you think?
^_^ Thanks and Enjoy! myLot!....

As long as you have good firewalls and a good security program on your computer, there's no harm in it. I stay logged into countless sites. Lately though, mylot has been logging me out in the middle of making a post! It's getting really annoying and I can't figure out why it's happening.........

i am also presently encountering the same problem as you do, my friend, that is, as regards mylot's current performance. perhaps this is because, the current system is already hard up in coping with the surge of activities that the members of the community has been doing.
there is really a need now for the mylot admin to upgrade the system that they are having to serve the purposes of mylot activities. i am really hoping that they will do this very soon.

I hope so too, because this having to re-log in whenever I switch pages is really getting on my nerves.

thank you sparkofinsanity.
I've never yet encountered that unexpected logging-off from myLot. trinidadvelasco has said about surges or lags or slowness that it my cause of high bandwidth of traffic or users simultaneous interactions in myLot.
I think this happens occasionally when lots of users drastically catches their quotas during pay-off time.

If you are the only one person use your computer, there will be no problem. I heard many discussions about this kind of activity, the only thing is it will makes myLot server overloaded with idle participation and cause it working performance dropped. That is why, many discussions complaining about myLot webpage is very slow in responding for both internet scope of activity; downloading and uploading.
I hope, all mtLot members logout/signout from myLot web page after have done their myLotting activity. Help other online active myLot members to enjoy their well connection speed for uploading and downloading on myLot. We can check our ISP's internet speed free online at; www.izzi.com.my/speedtest ; if the respective test reading above 500/250 kbps for downloading and uploading, meaning that myLot server is having overloading. One of the sources is many "idle" myLot members don't logout from myLot web page.

good day! there cafe prince barista. ^_^ One Cafe Latte please!..... hehehehhehe...
Thanks.
Can I have another coffee mix variations please. I tried the ginger and wow surely tastier and your right I felt the kicking sensation.
Idle means no activity or no traffic even it is virtually login. No traffic load means it doesn't affect myLot load of activities. If it get slowed because of traffic loads, its time for myLot administrators to level up their speed or augmented their systems. The more traffic myLot they have the more earnings they will have. If they have more earnings they have more room for improvement for their systems.
Here is my result of the speed test.
Last Result:
Download Speed: 379 kbps (47.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 164 kbps (20.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Is the good enough?.... I think the testing is nothing to do with myLot. It is between izzi and my station and not between with myLot and my station.

Hello Hello Hello, your special coffee served for you down there(photo).
IDLE means login but not active on the page. Doing scrolling the page or whatever, or, active on other sites by abonding myLot web page. Once logged, meaning the downloading is in active mode.
Referring to your internet speed tested with the respective reading, means your ISP is in fairly good but not excellent. The testing had been performed showed that, if you're encountering slow upload and download while on myLot web page, it is not myLot server problem but your ISP internet speed not in excellent performance.
Same thing will happen if upload any data to your blog, if the bog application pop up doesn't appear, means your internet speed in weak connection speed. Not to blame blogger.com.
Wish you good luck.

since you brought this up, i am now considering the need to logout everytime that i leave mylot.
oftentimes, i do not logout at all. however, i have noticed lately that, even if i do not logout when leaving my mylot activity, i still have to sign in as i come back. i don't know the reason for this. maybe, it is due to the server that mylot has. it has already become inadequate to accommodate the activities of everyone in the community.
another thing is the slowness of the system which does not allow me to post as much responses as i used to do. before, when i have good spare time, i earn easily more than a dollar a day. this is good since, i do not do mylot everyday anymore.
going back to the main point of this discussion, i believe that it is always better to be at the safer end of this practice. let us all logout when we are through doing mylot. we just don't know how hackers do it. but, years ago, it has been a big problem which hit the mylot community.

salamat trinidadvelasco.
So your experience is that your have logout even you did not logout previously. I think this is due to the browsers temporary files or cache and especially cookies. When cookies has been deleted your previously website setups are gone due to those deleted cookies. Especially the cookies of myLot.
Look for your web browser preferences or options that it may setup on deleting cookies or deleting temporary Internet files automatically every time you close your web browser.

I never log out of any site I use unless it's a commercial site that I'm doing business with. It's too much trouble to log back in--yes, I'm lazy as well as very busy!
I love your avatar, it's so pretty. Is it symbolizing the earth or is it just a pretty ball?

Thank you dragon54u!
Hehehehe yeah me also too lazy even its just a few keystroke..... hehehhehehhe. Beside I got the luxury of solely using this computer.
Oh the avatar. Its nothing. hehehehhehe. Thanks for admiring my rotating ball or globe or whatever you may call that..... I just found that on other forum site. I know you would like it coz your dragon.... lol..... You remind me of that animation "Dragon Ball Z" and it has live movie now. And one of my favorite Japanese animation.
It's a ball, just like and looks like a soccer ball or the ball of New York City at New Year's Eve. A Ball is round, like the world or the Earth is round. Or life is going round and round it goes. But its a ball. It rotates in two directional poles. Negative and positive. Good or bad. Up and below. And tiled with gold plate as for wealth and prosperity, knowledge and wisdom, and most of all power.
And I simply call it the "Ball of Prosperity, Knowledge, Wisdom and Power".
Or maybe "Ball of myLot". hehehehhehe.
^_^ Thanks and Enjoy! myLot!....

I don't bother to log out on any sites except on my PayPal and my bank account. Not logging out on any of my sites has never been a problem for me and I have been doing this for 4 years now and am not worried about it. As long as I remember to log out on my bank account and my PayPal account I'm comfortable with it!

I think so. I'm not the only one who uses this computer and I NEVER log out. The other person using this computer dosn't even know about my lot anyway. Also, I'm not wireless. And in our posts, we don't give our bank account numbers or anything like that.

Well for us regular members of the site maybe that will be fine. but in reality I guess there are just those people that loves to look at other people's account. Hackers are always on the lookout for these things such as open accounts that remain dormant online. I think there are many people who does like you do that is why these hackers have not taken your account into scrutiny but there is a high possibility that you may lose your account if you left it open for quite sometime online. It is always a good practice to log out of the system.
As to how they do it don't ask me coz I too am not aware how they do it.

In your home computer if you don't log out its okay. But if you are working on a public computer or in a cyber cafe then you need to log out.Because people can misuse your account. They can also steal your money putting their paypal ids.I don't log out from mylot from my home computer.

Thats true it is not safe if you do not log out and go back to mylot later you will still be loged in even if you close your browser. I am sure its ok if you are using your personal computer but if you dont and are at a library or at work then it is not safe at all.

I have not had a problem here so far to feel in anyway that it would be unsafe. I log out when i know that there would be break in mylotting for me over a period of 2 hours or so. There have been time that i have not logged out and have opened the browser again the next day.

Basically, it is an SOP to logout your account everytime you are finished accessing it. But in your case and in my case, we are the sole user of the computer unit. I don't logout my account here in mylot and other accounts that I have because basically there is no security issue to be afraid of. Next, it is not practical to login and logout your accounts especially if you know you'll be checking these accounts when you open your computer.
And my computer is password protected, so no one can access it without my permission.

Hello,
Thanks for making this point to all of us. Even I have noticed that a lot of times but since its only me who uses my laptop so it is okay for me. If people are working from a share computer then it will not be good for them because that would give someone else unauthorized access to their account.
happy and safe mylotting!

maybe you should log out. they say that prevention is better than cure. so maybe for security purposes you should do so. leaving an account with unsafe security might leave you to be hacked by someone else. happy mylotting!.
