Do you rate comments and discussion?

In the discussions page you will find a + sign next to the discussion and also next to comment. You can rate discussions and comments as positive by clicking on it. Do you guys do it? I am not sure wether it helps in earning or personal rating. (does anyone know?)

I do give rating to my respondents and choose a best answer. It does not increase our earning but it helps in the rating of the respondents as you will see the star beside the name.

I always give the rate to other myLotters who give the response in my discussion. I also sometimes give the rate to other people discussion or comments that sound positive to much member whom have read it before.
I always give the positive rate and avoid give the '-' rate to other myLotter. I will choose not to give the rate better than give the minus.

I haven't given any look to it so far but will definitely do now.And I am curious to know if it adds to ratings/earns money.
