How do you spend your weekends or holidays usually ?

Even I also prefer to stay at home.but sometimes I go outside also like shopping or to some amusement park and sometimes we go for holidays to some near by places.I prefer to stay home because after a long tiring weekday I want to relax at home and its true also that there is nothing more relaxing than your own home.so I usually prefer to stay at home.

I spend my weekends or holidays with the rest of my family. We all play tennis and we sometimes go to the beach on weekends. On holidays, we usually go to other places or work together at home.

We spend our weekends and holidays depending on the situation. If we have budget to spend we are going to any place we want but often time were just staying in our house and then family bonding. You can spend your days anywhere and any how just enjoy the weekends thats the important thing there.

Most of my weekends are spent taking my parents shopping or my mom to the hospital for appts. Or I am at home relaxing. Holidays are spent at my parents house having dinner.

There are days that I would like to stay inside all day also but that is not possible since my dog needs to go outside at least three times a day.. Before I had my dog, I would spend at least a whole day indoors. A day off, doing laundry, house cleaning, cooking, eating, sleeping and online. On weekends, I plan adventures, with my dog of course. Walking is great. The fresh air is good for us also. We usually walk along the waterway, go to the beach, a park, trails or a car ride to somewhere we haven't been before. Soon summer will be here and will be on the bike more. I love to spend time in the park, laying on the grass, listening to the birds but my favorite is a quiet beach where I can listen to the waves as I meditate. Week ends are also time to see family that I don't get to see during the week. May be some time to do some shopping as well or go catch a hockey game. Holidays are planned ahead to spend with family, usually involving food, a gathering for dinner. Depending on the holiday, I may just stick close to home. All in all, I do get out at least three times a day for a stroll with my puppy. Rain or shine, wind or snow. Has to be done. Dog needs the exercise but also needs to go potty. I no longer have the option to not go outside. I don't mind because it breaks ups any monotony, allows me to fill my lungs with fresh air and keeps the dog content. Due to health issues, it is a god send as I must remain active. A brisk walk around the block can easily clear the mind allowing for a new look on things that were before the walk too. I see people in wheel chairs and such and count my blessings. As long as my legs work, I am going to make the best of it and use them to the fullest. It is good for us to let the sun shine down, for our eyes to be exposed to it's light moderately. When it is cold out, I like to bundle up for a walk because I love to come back home where it is warm and cozy. I get to see new things when I am out walking, even if it is the same stroll we have made a thousand times before. I meet people and my dog gets to mingle with other dogs. I don't know how many times I was glad that I went for a walk because I met someone interesting or because I learned something new that benefits my life in one way or another.

I usually watch some documentaries on t.v. or videos or read. I like baking too and like you I like staying in. It's cheaper that way! Haha... but occasionally I go out.. somewhere naturey.

Hi, nancy I don't like going outside too much, too. Actually since I work here in the city and mostly stay up at night, I like staying home on the weekends. If my friends call or send a message asking to go out then i do go out for a bit. Once a month I go on a trip in the province to spend my weekend with my mom and bro. It's a tiring long trip but well worth it since I get to be with my family. But on holidays, I still go to my mom and bro to spend it with them. My mom always drag me to the church and their church activities. I haven't participated in any church activities since I started working in the city because of my busy schedule. although I still attend masses on Sundays... ^_^ I am planning to take a week off this summer so I guess I might as well drag my family to my mom's hometown where we can go on a picnic at the beach hahaha... why don't you try going to the beach too on a holiday or on a short vacation, nancy? ^_^

I normally spend my weekends or holidays at home, for i work normally five days a week and is on late shift. So mostly daylight i will tend to sleep more. During my weekends or holidays, i normally watches movie at home or will go out with friends to either local restaurants or fast foods. At about eight o'clock to ten o'clock i will either go window shopping or groceries shopping. What about other people in mylot, do you spend your weekends or holidays like me?

Well during my holidays i have to do a lot of work first of all i need a lot of sleep. i sleep half of my day, and then as i stay alone for studying i have to do all the weekdays cleaning on this off day or if i am bored i never even clean the houe just lay down lazying whole day. if possible sometimes i go with my sister and friends out for shopping or just for fun thats simple i spend my day in somewhat god ways

In Saturday,I always go to the supermarket to buy the necessities of our daily life including food,commodity and so on with my husband. And then we go to visit my parents together and to have dinner with them. In Sunday,we may have rest and stay at home or do some housework together. Good luck and happy mylotting.

Usually I stay with my family on weekends or holidays. After one week work ,i feel tired, i need a complete time to have a rest, play with my son, doing some houseworks etc. Sometimes we go outside for a short trip,sometimes we go to super market, sometimes we go to my parents home.

we spend our holidays depending on situations. we usually spend out time on the weekend running around trying to get things done we couldn't get to during week. I am student. I really like to enjoy holidays and weekends with my friends relatives and making the money also. we make a journey to unseen places. That will become remarkable experience in my life.

I don't like to go out either at house during weekends i just like to stay at house with my husband watching TV but sometimes we go at his friends for dinner or lunch. My husband loved to played dart, so every Sunday night that was our weekend routine we played at dart together with his team mate.

like you, i'd also prefer to stay at home... watch a movie, chat with friends through phone, do stuffs in the garden... etc... ^_^

Hi nancy, During weekends or holidays I enjoy my time by playing tennis ,volleyball and sometimes pc games also. I also go for outing with friends quite often. Otherwise, I won't mind spending the whole weekends just making new friends and discussions in mylot..lolz..

I have a lot of hobbies, so I usually spend my weekends to do what I like to do. Sometimes I stay in my house to play computer games, sometimes I go to the gym with my good friends to play badminton or basketball, and sometimes I also go shopping alone. In brief, I will enjoy myself as much as I can on weekends.

As much as possible, I wanted to stay home during weekends to take a rest after a week of work. This is the best time to have bonding with my husband and baby so I really grab the opportunity to be with them during these times. We just watched TV and oftentimes having some barbeque party. Nice day isn't it.

I spend my weekends mostly studying or else with my iphone 3g.I play this game called tap tap revenge, a free app from the app store,trying to beat the high score.sometimes I watch movies in my mind bobling home theatre.yup,weekends are fun but I miss my school friends just for two days.
