What do you do in a "cafe"?

There is a local coffee shop here in Guelph called "The Second Cup" that my wife and I both go to. My wife is there every day and I go about once a week. They have outstanding coffee and also a very good atmosphere. We'll usually spend several hours there, sometimes reading a book, sometimes with the laptop because they have WiFi. They also have outstanding Mochas.

i usually drink coffee in the cafe, with my friends, we bring their laptops in the cafe to download, do our stuff in school and etc.. sometimes, we just go there in our break in school, since we have the same schedules, and we do not have anything to do in our free time while waiting for the next class.

I live in a cafe just up the street. I like to go up to The Second Cup to sit and read for a few hours, or to take my computer and get a little work done using their hot spot. It's a nice place for me to get away and relax for a while. I go there every day for a mocha latte.

Hello wondericequeen, Either this three stuff - grab a coffee and read a magazine, or chat with friends, or surf the net. But I seldom go to a cafe and spend so much time there. Don't even time to relax sometimes...

i enjoy spending time in cafes. sometimes i will sit in a cafe with a large container of coffee and read an excellent book. this is relaxing to do. other times, i will meet friends and relatives in cafes and enjoy the time i spend with them, there. i hope you enjoy the time you spend in cafes.

I like to grab a coffee, chill with my friends, and surf the web on my laptop with the free wifi.

In most cases when I am in a cafe I order and drink coffee. Usually I do not go there alone. Its usually with my friends or co workers and chat from time to time. When I bring along my laptop, then I would also go online. Most cafe have this wifi so obviously I can use it for free.

I don't bring my laptop when I go to a cafe, I sometimes write when I am in a cafe, but I prefer to write by hand while I am there. It is more convenient for me to write by hand, because I don't usually bring my laptop when I go in to town, but I always carry my pen and my notebook in my bag. I like to drink coffee when I am in a cafe, sometimes I drink ordinary coffee, and sometimes I drink cappucino or Irish coffee. I usually talk to my fiance or some friends when I am in cafe, but a few times I have gone to a café on my own.
