Homemade Bread Crumbs

You know, like the bread crumbs you buy in the store for meatloaf and stuff. I buttered and broiled the ends of the loaves of bread and seasoned them with garlic and parmesan. Then let them totally dry. Then I processed them in my salad shooter and got bread crumbs. I made meatloaf with them last night and everyone thought it was great! And it was a whole lot cheaper than going to the store and paying $5 for a package.

Thanks for the receipe. I LOVE to use bread crumbs, and I always though I could make them myself, however, I never had a receipe. Thanks again.

I used 8 ends and got 2 cups of crumbs! Good luck!
