I have had to live without both for several days. I have been through hurricanes and tornadoes but never an earthquake. I had relatives in the Alaskan Earthquake many years ago and they had terrible stories about it. So, I would say earthquake is worse. The hurricane I went through caused a lot of hardships such as no water or electricity. Also, we had no gasoline all of this for days. All the food in my freezer ruined.

i can without electricity if th weather is not hot.. during war in july and august this year in lebanon,, the feul was cut from lebanon and we had to stay with no electricty for 20 hours out of 24 EVRY DAYYY. and thats cuz we r in the city.. the people outside didnt even get 4 hours in 48 hours..

unfortunately, i've had 2 endure both @ the same time. north carolina had a major ice storm in 2002. we lost power and our water comes from a well that needs electricity 2 run the pump. on the 2nd day, i went and got a hotel, 1 of only 4 in the city that had power. i was in the hotel for 4 days b4 power was restored in my area.
