I don't who gave the idea that angels have wings but I think it's cool and angels should have wings considering that they live in heaven and next to the creator. What do you think?

Very early pictures of angels showed them with an 'aura' - an oval haze of light around them to show that they were not ordinary humans, even though they had a human form. Over time, people copying these early pictures painted the aura as wings and this is why today they are generally imagined to have wings. Angels don't actually have wings (in fact, they don't have a human form at all unless they choose to take one). If you meet an angel, he will very likely not reveal his true nature until after he has left you. Real angels, by the way seem to be always male. I don't know why.

There are only two types of angles described in the bible as having wings. They are Cherubim mentioned in (Exodus 25:20; Ezekiel 10) and Seraphim in(Isaiah 6). Really Angles have no need for wings. The Cherubim are the angles portrayed on the Arc of the Covenant That contained The laws God gave to Moses on the mount. The Seraphim have 6 wings. They used two to fly, two to cover their feet, and two to cover their faces. The seraphim flew about the throne on which God was seated, singing His praises as they called special attention to God’s glory and majesty. The word angles means messenger. Angles can take any form. So Jesus told us to be careful because we could be entertaining angles unaware. So that beggar or homeless person we pass by could be an angle. They also can be that person protecting us from harm. so no most real angles don't have wings.

Well it's a general rule for kids to believe that angels have wings like heaven is up above and hell is below us. When you encounter a miracle or a life changing event in your life or even when you just appreciate everyone around you, you'll know that angels are everywhere and they need not have any wings to be one
