Gang turf wars are escalating in Vancouver, BC, Canada and surrounding municipalities. Over the last 24 hours, there have been 7 more shootings. I saw a story on the news where the police had seized several automatic high tech weapons and they said that they are no match for this kind of weaponry. I wonder what we can do to get a handle on all of this gang violence, especially since in 2010, Vancouver, BC, Canada will be hosting the Olympics. Would you still come to Vancouver, BC, Canada to see the Olympics amidst all of this ongoing gang violence?

I hate gang violence. It is really ironic, that these people consider themselves tough and they have to have 20 or more people around at all times, and do bad things as a group...who invented these things? They are ridiculous!
We have some around my area and it is horrible!
And its true, gangs, and violence and make it so people might think twice about coming to an area, expecially if they have children.
But the olympics...maybe they'd risk it...I dont know
