I may be pushing the season just a bit but it has warmed up and i have broke out the tent and all my camping gear. My question to you is do you camp in a tent or a camper? Myself i use a tent just like the easy mobility. besides with a tent I can camp just about any were. with a camper you have to have a road to get to your campsite.

I spent many years tent camping. My husband and I ride motorcycles, and he pulls a trailor behind his bike with all of our camping equipment, clothes, food, etc. It is great to be able to camp just about anywhere, but we also own a pop-up camper that is quite enjoyable as well. It's nice to have the ability to cook inside and have an actual sink for washing dishes in. Heating water on our campstove and washing them in a rubbermaid tub works great when we are tenting it, but, the older I get the more I am leaning towards having a few extra amentities.

The weather is still too cold for me but we love to go camping in the forests and in the mountains. we have a two bedroomed tent with a lovely veranda where we can sit and look out at the wildlife if the wind is blowing and it is too windy to sit outside. We sleep on air mattresses and have nice warm sleeping bags to keep us warm. During the summer months it can get quite hot so only need a sheet to cover us. In the UK we get a lot of rain so we need the extra space.

I don't know whether you are rushing YOUR season or not! But here on the West Coast of B.C. we are still getting a bit of snow...and we have been tenting on weekends now for a month! But we do have a truck tent! It erects in the back of the truck, so we are not on the cold ground...but do only camp somewhere that we four wheel into...no amenities...and no company, other that Mother Nature's furry friends~~~~and a rip-roaring campfire! Loving it!

So, wanna get your gear together and come camping with us, leaving tomorrow morning? My son is coming home tonite..tomorrow morning early, we are doing something different....we are packing up our boat, and heading to a small Island just off the Coast here in B.C.! So we will be "boat camping"...and it's a given that we will not encounter any humans! And snow is predicted...so here's to the HotChocolate/Drambu!e, rip-roaring fire...and beach oysters BBQ'd! Cheers!
