it doesnt tell why but it says that this 14 year old put a picture of a 13 year old on her page and wrote under there a request for some one to kill her..
what the heck?!?! with their ages i wonder if she did it in a joking way but you cant joke like that anymore!!
myspace sure is getting a bad reputation with being linked to crimes and stuff.. for those that use myspace or have kids that do.. does all this bad publicity matter to you??

If someone is retarded to try and get some OTHER even MORE retarded person to kill a child... then... where are the mental institutes?? No the sort of BS doesn't matter to me because im not crazy..(well not to that extent anyway)
It is school related hatred going into the computer age, and that is creepy in its own right. Myspace is popular, so you hear more stuff about it... simply put. I have a facebook profile but i hardly really check up on it. I canceled my Hi5 account because a lot of sick minded people were starting to get on my nerves on that social network.
Sadly, this sort of stuff is becoming more common, and thing you need to ask is where are the parents, where are kids coming up with such sick and twisted ideas from and a whole other list of questions as well.

The parents might be sitting right next to the child not paying any attention... It's sad to say but it's true, things can happen in just a second and they are done.. But for a child to do something like this to me is screaming for help, something is right, something is wrong and it's being by passed and nothing is being done.. Maybe this girl was picking on her or maybe even worse than that.. Children these days really don't know how to deal with problems like this.. No one really knows the situation and what and why this happen so really no one should have a the right to judge this girl for doing what she's done.. There is always another part of the story that may never be told.. All depends on the situation...

WOW! What was wrong with that girl...Unfortunately teenagers tend to act before they think...sad, horrible story, but at least (I think) nothing came out of it to harm the girl...
I use myspace and I think that myspace is getting a bad rap for bad parents.
Myspace is great if used the right way, that being said...I dont think those of us who use it correctly, should be punished by having it taken away for those people who abuse it. They should have their account deleted.
And as for children using it, Parents should have a better hold on what goes on on their computers.
This child's mother should have had a better screening or supervision over what her daugher was doing online.

I have children and as it stands right now I would only allow them to be online, let alone myspace, if I know exactly what they are doing. I know that children should have some form of privacy but how much privacy can you expect on something that is so public. Maybe I am just a freaked out parent but I would rather be safe then sorry.

i guess its better to be overly worried than to think it is safe and find out other wise in a tragic situation

This is the first thing I have heard about Myspace. I use it but find more and more I am here or on Twitter of some of the other sites I am on. You are right there is no room for this kind of thing whether the girl thought of it as a joke or not---no you can't joke about things like this---ever.

Wow. That's absolutely and completely unbelieveable....or maybe it isn't so unbelieveable after all, considering the things that go on. What about the mother who posed as a teenaged girl and drove another teen girl to commit suicice? Then there was the show on American Justice that we saw the other day about the mother who tried to get an opposing candidate for head cheerleader killed so her daughter would get the position. It's sad and sick what people will do these days, and no longer surprising, though the reality of it is still extremely shocking.

No. Because I, and everyone I know with kids, speaks very sternly, and realistically with them. We let them know that there are bad things out there, but that there are also good things, and that you can't let the bad that is done by a few minor people cause you to live in fear, and be afraid of something that can also be good!

even then does that give some one the right to ask for some one to kill some one else on a website?

Hmmm.. This isn't right. I mean she's only 14 years old.. 14 or 40, I don't think it's right. But looking at her age, maybe she is still young and has vent-up frustrations at the other kid. Probably some counselling would keep her on the right track. Its good that someone managed to spot this. We surely don't want a repeat of the incident where a 17-year old dressed in black killed 17 students.
