Have you ever wrote a book? If you have, what book is it? What is it about and how many pages is it? Do you have pictures to go with it or photos? And if yes, did you draw or paint those pictures or did you take those photos yourself?
Or have you been writing a book? If you are, what is it about? When do you think it will be finished? Do your write in it each week? How much more do you need to write in it until it's finished?

I have written a collection of Christian poetry and right now I am working on a book about keeping your faith while going through cancer (or rather any illness). It is something that is close to my heart because my sister and uncle both dealt with cancer. It is kind of a joint effort with my sister to make it more personal.

That is really cool soulist! I would love to read it when it gets published. How far a long are you? Will it be done soon? I would love to be able to write a book or a novel.

I have been writing for many days now. But I need to improve myself. When I write smaller articles, I fair better. But when it comes to writing stories or longer articles which may include many pages. I tend to lose control over it. I don't know how to improve myself. Can anyone tell a site which may give some writing tips?

i've done poems and short stories but I'm about to start one. As I'm very much influenced by Stephen King,it would be in the same genre, but with some twists. :)

I have never written any book nor in the process of writing one. I think that I do not have that much patience that I can write a book. I try and write few versus etc. to express my feelings. Though with the work pressure it is also on a hault.

I have written five books and a couple of screenplays and am working on my sixth as we speak (well not as we speak because I am writing this but you get the idea)
The only pictures I have on my books are on the cover, which have all (bar one) been designed by me - which can be just as much fun as writing

I have often thought about writing a book and I always thought that I wanted to write a novel, but recently I have changed my mind and I have decided to start by writing a collection of short stories instead of a novel. I want ot write around 10 relatively short horror stories. When I was a child loved to read the different horror stories and I think that I have borrowed all of the horror books at my local library. I just couldn't seem to get enough I am writing down my ideas at the moment, so I still have a long way to go.
I also have a collection of poems and I have thought about turning them into a book one day. I haven't given up on that idea, but I still need to work on many of the poems, so they aren't ready yet. Right now I have decided to focus on writing my horror stories, and I will finish the poems later.

I am not writing a book at this moment, but it's been a dream for years now to publish one.It might be political, humourous, depressing, violent, and/or surprising if I ever get around to it. :P I might even write a book about my childhood, considering I was quite mischievious in earlier years.

I have written two novels, one which is published and the other that is still waiting for a home. My published novel is called 'Chasing Phantoms.' it is a thriller about a homeless man who is the only witness to a serial murder. It is not illustrated but I hired a local artist to do a charcoal sketch for my cover art.
My second novel is called 'Soul Kiss.' It is a romantic horror novel about a psychic vampiress who seduces a man over the Internet. The reason I have not published it yet is because I am waiting to find a good literary agent who can help me to market it.
When I am writing novels, I find it is best to set a minimum number of words that you will write daily. At first I set my minimum to 1000 words a day. Now I can write 3000 words a day without too much trouble. Just like exercising, writing gets stronger with practice.
