is it true that love is color blind?

He is a nice person very kind to me and in fact he wants to be a bf ,but the problem is all the ppl around me will not accept his color i know he is getting unhappy for i did not accept his request to be my bf ,and i really do not know how to explain the matter ,if it is true that love is color blind then i think i am not a lover yet,i like to be his friend rather to be a gf,the only thing left for me to do is how to keep the friendship which i value a lot!

That is true love is more a feeling than seeing. In your case if you do not feel the love he is offering to you then do not jump in to it. If firendship is the only thing you can offer then be honest to him and tell him how you really feel him as a person. Color should not be the reason but how you feel about them. With regards to your family, although their opinions may be a bit racist but I think when it comes to your happiness you have the right to follow it if you really like the guy.

u know why i am worried ?there is some person never accept the friendship even when u r honest to him or her,cauz the only hope in their heart was ruined by the one he or she cares for ,so it is very hard to let the friendship last ,i am afraid all that i am thinking about is in vain and i will lose the friend

if you want friendship and he doesn't then forget him. even if his intention is noble and you don't want him, hello? there are guys out there who would settle for only friendship if that's what you want because that's what you want and if it makes you happy (no matter how much it hurts them) then friendship would be enough.
