I live in the Philippines. Our country has a lot of call centers that pay considerably higher than of local companies here. It has given jobs to fresh graduates, and is one of the fastest growing industries in the country. It has been helping our economy.so I am for outsourcing.

Since I work for a payroll company..I would say it's a wonderful option for those who need the time to do something else.. We take care of payroll filing for thousands of clients who are trying to juggle many obligations at one time..SO it depends whether you need the extra time or not;)+

I don't think its bad neither i feel its good to india or US. outsourcing is a activity which is mutually beneficial. May be losing jobs on one side is bad, at the same time getting things done at much lower cost is beneficial. I feel its always good to US or any other country when they outsource to india.
Outsourcing is happening to india about the non-core activities of the foreign organisation. Even they hesitate to outsource their work. Outsourcers are answerable to most of them. This situation arises in every country. It basically depends on the situation/circumstances. If some company is getting benefitted w.r.t costing, quality job, value added services then why NO for outsourcing.
It actually the mutual beneficial activity. Not developing nation or developed country.

outsourcing for birthing is a wonderful idea often though the costs outweigh the projected savings because we cant predict all the costs
