Wasabi is an interesting thing. It's spicy and actually you can't dip a lot of it. Its spicy is different from the pepper. It's easy for you to drop tears, haha. I like to dip a little wasabi when I am having sushi. I love China

nope! i luv sushi.. but i hate wasabi.. i'll just dip the sushi into the soysauce, or some mayonnaise for extra flavor, but never wasabi.. i definitely do not like that 'sting' in my nose everytime i eat wasabi..

like all horseradish it is very effective at cleaning out the sinus's isn't it? I think the wasabi has a better flavor than other horseradishes, though.

Yeah, some people just can not stand the flavor of wasabi. As well as some people don't like durian

I like a very tiny bit. Once when I was sick with stuffed up sinuses, I actually ate a whole ball of wasabi in one mouth-full, desparate to clear my sinuses. IT WORKED! The Mexicans around here mistake it for Guacamole, because it's the same colour. Boy do they get a shock when they realize what it is.

I can not imagine to have sushi without wasabi. I may skip soy source, because it is too much slat in it, but I always add wasabi. I also like to make hot source for sushi.

Sushi is my favorite food. I like having it when it is wasabi-free. I like it so so much when it is with wasabi. wasabi and sushi is such a wonderful combination. wasabi not only makes sushi more tasteful, it also makes you get excited. I bet everyone know what I mean whoever have eaten sushi with wasabi.

I also like wasabi when I eat sushi but a little of it... I am like you, going to cry for it...but worst spicy food I ever had was in Thailand that my ears really smoked and I shouted that I can't help it so I didn't eat my dinner that time :(

That's very interesting. Perhaps the Thai food is changed a little bit here. As people can not stand so spicy food.

My husband loves wasabe, I enjoy eating sushi with eat too. I think the very reason why he keeps ordering sushi is actually for the wasabe hehehe. Someone shared us this tip, if you took too much of the wasabe and its making you teary eyed, pinch your nose and breath from your mouth. The main effect of the wasabe is when it gets to your nose hehehe

i dont like a lot so i usually drop a little in my saucer of soy sauce then dip mu sushi there. when i was at japan some of the sushi shops has wasabe already inside between the rice and the fish. i dont like that for the wasabe sticks at my teeth that makes me cry... lol so my sister will even request for a sushi without any wasabe in between. i would like to eat it but desolve it first at the soy sauce.

No! No way! Never like those green, smelly stuff! I can never understand why people like that stuff! The smell is so strong, it covers almost everything that it is smeared on! Kinda spoils the taste of the food to me.

IT is nothing at all interesting. The taste of the wasabe lingers for a very long time in the mouth! And everything you eat after is just plain nasty! Nope! Given the choice, I would rather not be eating any of those stuff!

Hi youless! I like the color! haha..My husband loves wasabi very, very much. He is crazy about it and will never have sushi without wasabi. In fact we have a wasabi paste always available just in case we get to order "take out" sushis. However, I wouldn't go near it! haha.. Take care and blessings to you. lovelots..faith

I love wasabi! It has such a unique taste and it's so delicious! The first time I tried it I didn't like it that much, but for some reason, every time I ate sushi I kept trying it. I gradually started liking it more and more. Now I can't eat sushi without it!
