Do you delete scraps immediately in orkut and other social nets..??

Hi...i would like to keep all the scraps or comments sent by my friends ,but i see some people delete them or lock their profiles completely....may be it's their wish but what are social networking sites for,....?it's not good or safe to keep addresses , phone numbers ,and other personal data ,but other things doesn't matter much.what will you do....?delete them all or wouldn't bother about that...

No, I never delete any scrap in orkut unless there is some personal data in it. I let them accumulate and I have got five thousands scraps in just six months. Now I am aiming for ten thousands. I find it quite bad to delete a scrap from my scrapbook. I think there should have been an option to make it confidential i.e. something which disables everyone else except me to see my scrapbook. In that case I would not have to delete any scrap.

oh....5000 is a good number man....keep it up you must have got a lot of friends over there .....yes i too feel bad to delete any scraps specially if they are sent by friends....unless i find the scrap abusive or not good i won't delete it.till now din't get any such ...lol....happy posting....

I don't delete but I lock my profile from stranger because I don't like any stranger comment on my profile if you want to comment then first choose me as a friend.This is just a privacy.

When my friend I generally do not discuss anything to personnel on social networking websites so that I have to delete my scraps on them. I don't believe in discussing the private matters on social networking websites. And so I do not generally delete my scraps on these websites. I am a member in quite a few social networking websites but I don't have a tendency to delete my scraps on these websites. Whenever I get some time I try to go through the scraps which are done on my scrapbook to bring back the memories of the topics which I chatted with my friends. To view it may sound very strange body as I like this practice and that is the only reason I do not delete my scraps. But you sometimes when there are some scraps with too much information and images I do tend to delete them.

i currently have 2983 scraps. If i had not deleted all the scams and spans, i would have had around 5000 scraps. I immediately delete scraps by unknown people,. I want to keep my profile neat, clean and safe.

i dont delete ma scraps. i have locked my scrapbook because i dont want strangers ( ppl who are not in my friends list ) to know who is sending me what. i dont put up my pictures in any albums, so i dont lock them. cant completely trust people . my freinds have had bitter experiences. but i have only people who i know in my account.
