some of us tried to make our own hamburgers at home. me and my children did this a lot of times already. and if you are at home you can put anything you want inside your burger. i can say i love cheese (any kind of cheese will do). i also love cucumber or pickles. tomatoes and mayonaise. i like onions and mushroom too. my son puts french fries inside his burger... for me it is wierd but he said it taste wonderful. a cousin of mine wants bacon with his hamburger sandwish but that is too much for me.

My favorites are cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, ketchup, and mustard. Occasionally I like bacon but not too often. I never like mayonnaise on my burger - the taste just doesn't fit for me. That's interesting that you put cucumbers on yours - I've never thought of that. Maybe I'll try it! Talking about this is really making me feel like a hamburger right now!

i like mayonaise but just a little, too much make the burger sour already. i forgot to say lettuce for i can only buy lettuce occasionally for it is quite expensive here in our country. so if it is cheap then i can have some.... if not i will stick will tomato, cheese and cucumber. thanks for the response

I enjoy the taste of the standard burger toppings, however, there are a few toppings that prove to be difficult to eat, such as tomatoes and onions. they just seem to come out all at once. Because of that i have come to like McDonald's version of doing things in which everything is chopped into a sort of relish. the only topping i cannot eat a burger without is cheese.

welcome to mylot hisana, hope you like it here like most of us do. i think a burger without a cheese is a bit boring. cheese brings out the best of the burger. when you eat a burger without cheese you know that there is something missing. thanks for the response and hope to see you more around

yes i also agree that i also love the ones i made it myself. of course for there are no preservatives added on it. all natural. i also put celery and carrots with the meat i just minced it very well. and add the taste that my children will love. i also put barbeque marinade or sauce then fry it with cheese inside. then top again with cheese when it is also in the bun already. yum. lol. thanks for the response my friend.

i can imagine you eating the veggies then your burger has only cheese and a bun for the veggies are already inside your tummy. well you needto contrl yourself and eat the veggies with the burger. lol. i think it is a nice bonding to make burgers at home. kids can help putting mayon on the buns and it is fun. thanks for the response

For me what i do is i fry some chicken salama and then what i do add next on the burger bun is fresh cucumber, onion, mayonnaise, cheese and ketchup.
Sometimes when i have eggs, i will include sunny side up egg into my chicken salami sandwich with mayonnaise and cucumber, cheese and ketchup into it.
I haven't tried to make a homemade beef burger patty yet. But if i do, i would like to add the same like, mayonnaise, lettuce, cucumber and onion ring into it.

I usually add lots of bacon bits, cheese and a fried egg to my hamburger. I don't add seasoning or sauce, as the cheese and bacon bits would be salty and tasty!

another lover of fried egg on a burger. i tasted that before and it is yummy but it is too much for me. and it sounds like you really enjoy a salty burger. just dont forget to drink a lot of water to wash it down so you wont get kidney infection. thanks for the response

I have had burgers with BBQ sauce and swiss cheese. A little basic but very good. I love to have them with onions, lettuce, and ketchup. I also like them with bacon. Now I want to go experimenting with burgers...
I went to a local restaurant and they had a burger in a flat bread which was very good. Almost like a taco in form.
There is a place in Hartford, CT that does steam burgers. They are very juicy. Was at the Big-E one year and came across them at the Connecticut state house.

BBQ sauce? wow almost all the response here puts something extra special with their burgers. but it sounds delish that i am willing to give it a try. steam burgers? wow now that one is healthy and sounds juicy. i am not that sure how to make that but it is very interesting. but just as i said we can all put anything in our burger specially when it is home made. thanks for the response
