Its said that walking after supper is good for our health.I dont do that for a long time since its still cold outside.I usually stand for about 30mins after each meals, but I think its better to take a walk.Do you have a habit of taking a walk after supper?Or just do it sometimes?Do you walk alone or with others?I prefer to walk with others. Its nice to have someone to talk while walking.Have a good day.

i don't walk after supper because I'm too busy getting the kids bathed, and ready for bed etc. I was walking every morning for a good while though I stopped when it got cold and just haven't started again. I'm so disappointed in myself. Walking gives me so much and I feel so much better when I'm done. I need to start back like yesterday. Can't use the wheather as an excuse anymore.
Have a great day.

When I was walking, it would take me approx. 40 minutes to walk three miles. I like to change up my speed.. normal to start, then speed walk, jog a couple minutes, then speed walk again. I read changing your speed keeps your heart rate changing and helps loose more weight.
BTW... walking ANYTIME is a good habit. So go when you can. Even if it's 15 minutes at lunch and 15 minutes after work.

I do my walking in the morning, and while I am at work, I am very actice, but as I understand it, walking after a meal is probably very healthy for the digestion, as well as for you body. People should walk more, whenever they can! Have a great day!

I have heard the saying: Walking after supper will make you live until 99. So walking after supper is very important. However, I don't have this habit. I don't think I have enough free time to be so relaxed:) After dinner, sometimes I will wash the dishes. And then I will have a bath. After that, I am busy with my child.

Thats not good.Do you mean you go to sleep right after your supper?Or just lie down in your bed and do something else?I dont walk often after supper, but I try not to sit down after supper at least for 30mins.lol It can help you maintain a flat belly.

I try to! But I can't say I could do it everyday since sometimes I get off late and it's hard to walk late at night. But sometimes if I get off work early and could finish supper early, I would go down and have a walk, even for half an hour is good *smiles*.

Hello sweetyethot. I love to take a walk after supper together with my wife. We usually walk to my parents-in-law's house to play for an hour or two. Sometimes we also take a walk to the nearby People's Square where a lot of people go for relaxation. We love to go there as there are also some other activities on the Square like singing and dancing. Take care, friend.

I walk every day after dinner. I walk 5 miles. It has taken some time to work up to that. I started out with a mile then gradually increased it until I met my goal. Sometimes in the winter months I will walk before dinner because it get's dark too early but I don't feel near as good as when I walk after dinner

If it is warm outside, it is good to take a walk after meals. The only exception is for people who have liver diseases. I read in a book, for them it is better to lie on bed for half an hour after meals, so blood circulate around the digesting system, instead of going to the limbs.

I have also heard that walking after supper is good for health. I don't usually walk after having supper. But I would love to do that if I have someone with me. I can go jogging even if I have no one else with me, but when it comes to walking I need to have someone whom I can talk with while walking. Otherwise, it would become quite boring. Today after having supper I will try to convince someone to go walking with me .. lol..
