What is one thing you badly wanted but could never have?

We all have wants in life. And when we want something, we strive to achieve that. But is there anything you badly wanted, that no matter how hard you try but to no avail, that thing seems to be slipping off your fingers even before you can entirely have it?

I'm too dirt poor to have a ps2 JUST JOKING ABOUT THE DIRT POOR!!! ^_^ but i really want to have a ps2 or better yet PS3!!!!
