how to turn on computer automatically?

hi friends i am using a net connection where i have free download from 2.00am to 8.am every day. since i can't get up at 2.00am everyday. i want to know a method how to turn on the computer automatically. so if you have any idea about scheduling your computer to turn on and turn off automatically please say me.

can't do it.. even if you had it plung into a timer. just leave it on. i leave my on all the time, 24/7. the only time i turn them off when we go on trips. but leave it on. it won;t hurt none
or change your downlaod time for like the mornings and get up and turn it on and then let it do whatever
