Do you chew gum, and if you do where to you put it when you've finished it?

hahaha I do the same thing because I hate it when your hand is under the table and you feel someone elses piece of gum! that is just discusting. So i usually just try to throw mine away or i also get a napkin to put it in and wait until i find somewhere to throw it away.

hello katsalot, I chew gums once in a while. and when I am finished with it, I will wrap it with it's wrapper or a small paper, then throw it to the next garbage can I will see. I just hate it when people just throw it anywhere and you will step on it without your knowledge take care

Yes I like to chew gum. I am one of those people that always throw my gum in the garbage when I am done. I can't stand finding gum under my chair or table. I know that my mom likes to put her's in a tissue before throwing it out. I'm not sure why she does that but I might just have to ask her,LOL.

I chew gum, but not daily. I either keep the paper that it come in to dispose of it that way, or throw it in the trash can. I hate stepping in somone else's gum, irks me so bad. I also can't stand to go sit down in a nice place to eat and there be gum up under the table or chair, it's nasty as heck. I have never seen the purpose of why people do that.

I chew gum. When I finish with my gum I place it where nobody that is standing up can see it. I put it under a chair or a desk. If those aren't available then I get something to wrap it around and put it in the garbage.

Honestly,whenever Im done with my gum I always stick them under the table.hehe.Either at school at home,or any places where I can stick my gum without anyone noticing it.Sometimes when I walk alone in the road I through it on the street.But I learned my lesson.There was one time when my teacher caught me,I really felt embarrassed.So I try my best not to throw it anywhere.

I get really irritated when I see gum stuck in different places like under the table or chair. Its so yucky! I make sure that I dispose my gum properly, usually I keep the wrapper of the gum to use when I want to dispose my gum. Or if not, I get a small piece of paper or tissue so wrap it in so that it will not stick on the trash can.

I very seldom chew gum...my stepmother used to tell me all the time that when ppl chewed gum they looked like cows chewing cud...it always stuck with me. Then a few months ago I watched a How's It Made episode on how gum is made and found out that it's base is made of plastic and rubber...no thanks...I'll pass. Hey there! Honestly, I stick them under the chair at school. If I cannot go out of the room to thrown the gum in my mouth I stick under the chair. But, if I would be able to go out I'd spit it in the garbage can. I never put it in my pocket. Have a nice day. Happy posting!!

Hi , As for me, I only chew gum in my car or at home, so I don't have to take it with me back to home, or I do if I'm in the car. I would do the same thing as you, first of all, I always save the wrapper of the gum to have something to roll it in, then when I'm finished I've always got something to place it in and I throw in the dustbin. I too hate people who stick their gums under tables of restaurants and diners or just throw it on the ground, they should know, they can step on their own gum! :)

I put it in a tissue paper first then on the bin. I am at home now and was chewing a gum when i saw your post, i said, hey this is timely, i can relate to it. . Well i agree with you, better stick it with an old receipt or bus ticket and throw it in the bin since it will cause others their shoe get stuck with a gum. The old fashioned school days were students throw it on the roof of their classroom or underneath their chair and sitting on it was the worse.

in india there no rules rgarding thet type of doing mischevious thigs like attaching chewing gums.we can attach them at any place we or i like.while if we eat in the classroom,then we attach them to the doors of our class tslf and we have no fear too

I SWALLOW IT. Sounds Strange right.But it causesw no harm at all. Although a gum takes 7 years to digest, it comes out of the body through excretion. no worrys.this we would'nt be dirtying our surroundings and everyone is safe and tidy.

Well when im at school if im to lazy to get up i just stick it under the desk with everyone elses but normally i just through it out and hope no one steps on it. I usually try to find a trash can if im in a public place just becasue someone is more likely to step on it there rather than in the middle of the road or ditches on the road!

I used to chew gums when i was doing computer courses.Everyday i was going to it by bus.I was having lots of bus tickets with me.I was putting gum in them and throwing it when i find a dust bin.

Yeah I chew gum a lot when im at work since where not allowed to have watter. And when it gets busy its hard to go to the fountin and I need something to take away my thirst which I chew gum. I usally put it in a plastic bag when im done since I usally go through 6 or 8 pices a day when im at work.

I really don't chew gum very often. I'm not really into chew gum. However, in the odd chance, when I do chew gum, when I'm done, I'll either simply throw it out in the trash can, or I'm put it in the wrapper and then throw it out.

I will place it in a piece of tissue or any unwanted piece of paper, before throwing it away.

A lot of the gum now does not come in wrappers so I supect those that say they put it back in the wrapper do not do so. Most gum now seems to come in blister packs. I usually spit it into a garbage can and if one is not available try to wrap it in a tissue or in a pinch a piece of paper. Failing all that if I am in my car I might spit it out the window, or sometimes I form it in a ball and gently put it on the console. When it cools down it hardens so I am able to pick it up and put it in the garbage. I hate seeing outside of building all those black dots that are old gum blobs. The worst and disgusting are the people who stick it under tables and chairs. Do they not realize some poor sap has to scrap off all that stale gum at some point.

I think this very good topic! I often chew gum and generally put it into the bin beside the street and sometime put it into the stove. Thank you for your topic to tell us where we should put the gum,which can improve our environmental awareness! Good weekend!
