My husband is out of town for three days on business and the kids, not being used tothis, are going nuts...and taking me with them. I am fortunate enough to be able to come into the office for 2 hours this morning so I can calm down and go online, but I have to go home soon, and then the babysitter will leave me alone with my children!!!!
Last night the girls finally went to bed at about 10:30 (I put them down at 8:00) and when I woke up this morning, one of the girls was in my bed and the other one was in bed with her brother. They never do that, they usually sleep in their own beds, and they go to bed just fine.
He will be home tomorrow night, but I still have to get through today!!!! Help - I need advice!

Wow! I definitely feel your pain. My husband used to work out of town. He would be gone for 4-6 weeks at a time. My kids would drive me ABSOLUTELY INSANE!!! My kids too would go nuts! I used to dread going home at night. Normally my kids are pretty much well behaved, but when he was out of town they tured into crazy kids. My husband made terrific money however after 1 year, I gave him the utimatium....either he quits the job, or I was leaving. With that being said, he quit! Hang in there, and keep the usually routine, as much as possible.

Keep them busy. They can color pictures for dad, and help you make the house look nice for dad, and take a nap so tomorrow they will be rested for dad.
This list could go on and on.
If you have a park nearby and the weather is not horrible take them for a bit. you could sit a relax while watching them and they could release some of that energy.

We did color and bake cookies yesterday. I tried to get them interested in cleaning up their room to make it look nice for daddy, but they didn't last too long at it. (They are 3 and 4)
It is supposed to be 76 today, so after lunch I was thinking of driving over to town and going to the zoo (Bailey loves the tigers), but I don't know if they will run all over the place or stay with me, they are too big for strollers.
This parenthood thing is hard by yourself...I am only alone for three days, I feel for single moms!!!!!!!!
