did this happen to you? i recently upgraded my membership again for $39.95 and then i see an ad today that says for a limited time join for only $29.95! i contacted support and asked HEY WHY NOT ME?? well its only for new members, basically there is no incentive to members who have been around since it was aol games back in the early 90's. i will never renew again.

Thats not right people like us dont get rewarded for being long time members. I would of asked to talk to some one higher up then what the person was that you talked to.

You'd think that with the economy being what it is, that Pogo would offer that special to everyone. It would certainly show a lot of good will, at a time when many of us are struggling. Yes Pogo keeps coming out with new games, and they are expensive to produce. But the downloadable game expense should be covered by the people who purchase them. I for one would love to see new ranks on some of the favorites, and slow down on the new games a little (not eliminating them though). With the number of paid subscriptions, and revenues made from selling gems, I think the could well afford offering something back to subscribers. And only one daily $50 prize? How cheap is that? Our local mom & pop grocery store has more prize contests than that, and I doubt if they make in a year what Pogo does in a day.

yes i totally agree! i dont see where all the money goes!! its horrible and i DEEPLY Regret upgrading again, i wasn't going to, but i had some spare money and some spare time, so i figured what the heck, HUGE mistake. if i had signed up under my other email address i could have saved 10 bucks, no laughing matter these days.

I agree. Ten dollars may not seem like a lot to some people, but to others it is money that's desparately needed in other areas...like food and shelter. And more and more people are unfortunately, falling into the second category.

I've been a club pogo member for several years. Last year when my subscription expired, I didn't renew right away. After about 2 weeks or so they sent me a one time special offer to renew at a discounted price. So I renewed. This year when my subscription expired again, I decided not to renew. $40 just seem a bit much to me. My subscription expired over 2 months ago. Some days I miss playing the club pogo games, but not enough to renew it again. I've looked to see if there's any discounts or coupons available anywhere online, but haven't found anything legit. Only discounts seem to be for new members. Doesn't seem fair does it?

I recently canceled mine. Just used up the few days I had left. Really wasn't worth it to me and I need the money for other things.
