Have You Ever Been Stranded?

I went to Baguio with my hubby, friends and office mates last February 27 to witness their biggest festival celebration, Pangabenga Festival. Baguio is the summer capital of the Philippines. Panagbenga Festival is a one month flower festival being visited by tourists because of its amazing celebration. We are there to watch the float parade of flowers. We are supposed to stay there in the weekends and be back in Manila in the night of March 1 but it didn't happen. We arrived in the bus station by 5pm only to know that all tickets were fully booked for that night. We were stranded! We were able to get tickets for the 5:40pm trip the next day. So we had no choice but to check-in to the hotel and stay there for another day. We were all absent in the office but we let them know of what happened. Although we were stranded, we were able to enjoy the beautiful places of Baguio the next day. Have you ever been stranded?

Yes, we really enjoy it! If only we could still extend for one week, we would. It's fun!

I have been stranded twice, both in the airport due to missing a connecting flight. The first time was in New Jersey and I was so scared because I was travelling alone and had never checked into a hotel by myself before. I had to call make a reservation and then arrange transportation to the hotel. The second time I was alone again in New York, since I had it happen before it was a lot less stressful. It was also so much better the second time around because I missed the flight due to an error by the Airline, so they paid for and arranged everything. I hate to travel alone because of this.

It's really hard to be stranded, a lot more if you're all alone traveling. It's better if you have someone with you during your travel so you have companion in case problems occur.

I have not been stranded in that way. I am glad that the way you were stranded and that you were safe and comfortable. It sounds like it was a wonderful festival. Hope you were not in trouble when you returned to work in the office. Did you get to take pictures?

I went with my friends in a town fiesta. It was a three day vacation. On the second day bad weather spoil our fun. We were stranded in that town for about five days because the bridge was destroyed by the typhoon.

That was worst than we experienced. It's really hard to travel if there's a bad weather. It's really dangerous. Thanks God, you were all safe after that.
