I know that there are literally hundreds of posts here on mylot so I was wondering: When you post, do you try to check and make sure that it is a new posting? If you came across someone with a post similar or the same as yours, would you say something to them? Or would you just report the person? I personally try to make sure that my posts are unique but it can be difficult and it has me wondering, have I ever posted a discussion similar to yours? What was it about if I did? Sorry I hope that I haven't steped on anyones toes here, happy mylotting.

To add to what MYKL posted, as long as the similar discussion wasn't posted immediately following yours...or a day or two later...I wouldn't worry about it. Discussions move along the boards at a fairly rapid rate sometimes and someone may post something similar to your discussion without realizing it.
