Oh that sounds interesting, thanks for posting!
I remember once they did a promotion where they gave out 2 free paperback books. I got them and gave them to a friend because I don't read paperbacks.
While I don't normally read romance, I'll read anything that is free and my screen reader program can read it to me. I need to practice anyway to improve my reading speed.

I remember that promotion too. Most of the time anymore, they offer the two free books, then when they send them to you, you get signed up for more on a monthly basis, and those you have to pay for. (I'm not into romance novels *that* much!) I'm with you there lol, I'll read almost anything that's free too.

I know back when I got the 2 free books I didn't end up signed up, because I didn't even have a credit card back then so I would have had no way to sign up.
But I downloaded like 5 free books this time... so thanks again for posting! I think these will be cool to read. I don't read a whole lot for fun generally but soon I'll have a bit of time and reading for fun is still good practice at least.

Certain computer programs can turn the PDF files into audiobooks for you. That's what I'm planning to do, sort of... although I'm going to combine the audio with the words using my screen reader program so that I can also follow along to improve my reading skills.
Best of luck!

That a heck of a deal, (free). I don't have much time to do much reading. I do love to read. I am reading a Danielle Steele book now. I do sometimes enjoy reading romance novels. Before I got my computer I always had my nose in a book, now my nose is in front of the computer. Thanks for posting the link, you found a good one.

Yeah, that's quite a good deal! I don't read this genre often, but it'll come in handy here and there. I downloaded all 16 into PDF then put them on a disc for later. Danielle Steele, she's a good author isn't she?! I do like reading her stuff, they're so involved and usually have a super story line. I don't get a chance to read as much as I'd like to either, right now I'm stuck on watching "murder she wrote" in re-runs at night, there is a lot I missed seeing.

I love these kinds of books as light reading. I wonder if there is a way to transfer the .pdf files to my iPod so I can read on the go.
I think I like the historical romance the best.
My husband hates when I read these books. He says it means I want someone else. He just doesn't understand the appeal of reading about someone else's romance and knowing that there will always be a happy ending.

You know trace, lots of guys think that way. I find that puzzling lol. I like the 'happy ending' factor too. Not enough of that in real life sometimes (and for sure not in most of the newer type movies!) I don't know much about ipods, but they do offer other ways to download, I think there's 2 or 3 other choices? Huh?! Learn something new every day lol. I didn't have a clue that you could read from an ipod, I thought they were for music.

That's awesome!
I got them.
I was so happy the books
were still up.
Right now, I can't afford to
go out to bookstores and spend
money on fiction books.
A quality freebie is always appreciated.
It will be nice to read something
other than Dora the Explorer
(my daughter's favorite)!
