Why is it so "bad" to have a small chest?

I was looking for some nice lingerie, but have a hard time finding it because I have a small frame and bust size. When I typed the phrase "lingerie for women with small busts" into a search engine, the FIRST RESULT was "Cosmetic Surgery". It made me really angry. Why should I have to get cosmetic surgery just because nobody wants to make clothes that fit me?

Seems odd to me that thats a problem...nothing wrong with a small chest.

I don't think that there's anything wrong with it. I'm just sad that "cosmetic surgery" was the very first search result for a string of words completely unrelated to surgery in any way.

It's only a problem for the same reasons that not being as skinny as a twig is a problem. The twisted ideas that fashion magazines and movies and all other nonsense put into other people's heads in trying to define what equals beauty in this world. And it's all completely messed up. There's nothing remotely bad about having a smaller bust. From a guy's standpoint I can tell you that a small chest can be as sexy as hell. So don't let a stupid search engine result get you too down or angry. Just because it may seem like that's the "general opinion" of the world, it definitely isn't.

It could be that the website or the first result is aggressively promoting cosmetic surgery. Personally, it really doesn't matter to me if a lady has little on her chest. I think they have more on the butt as what i have observed. Can this be true to you? Anyways, just be confident and don't let the trend of having cosmetic surgery bother you.

I, personally, see nothing wrong with having a small chest. I wish I did. I have a semi-large bust (DD) and although my b/f loves it (LOL) I don't. I have the same problem as you. Let's say I want to go into Victoria's Secret. Do they have lingerie to fit me? No. Everything is made to a "norm". If I do find something, it is almost guaranteed not to be attractive. (Ever heard the phrase "Grannie Panties"?) I am as angry as you are. I feel your pain. None of us should be made to feel that we need surgery to be attractive. We are all unique and beautiful.

I have a friend who has the same problem you do. Both of us hate to go bra shopping. It's very frustrating.

i actually found out that some brands of bras actually have different fits of the same size: like size 36 cut out for women is much bigger than the size 36 for teens. check it out.

I've run into that a few times, where I'll find my size but it will be in teens. The cup size is the same but the straps are way too short!
