Interest rankings

At long last, I've started really exploring my home profile page. I get most of it, but what is meant by the 'my interest rankings'? I click on this and see a row of little graph symbols - not all my interests are there - with a number. Is this my ranking for each thing, or the subject itself? does it have any bearing on earnings?

It has to do with several things including the number of responses made, the number of discussions started, and the number of responses we get for each discussion. It is believed that the ratings given by others play a part, but I am not sure about this. We only see the ranking of the Interest that we have participated in, though there may be other criteria involved. all the best, rosdimy

I've worked it out (I think!) It's your position on that topic, worked out by how many posts you've made. Like, someone who is 110 out of 2247 or something (on the discussions) is ranked quite high. But how that equates to earnings I'm not sure. Guess I'll have to keep posting so I can find out!
