Earning in my lot

I have a strange but a valid question to all those people who are active on mylot for a long time. I have seen that , if i post 10 to 15 questions, though small one ( You can see my profile )...might be small polls and so on, i never get more than 25 cents...Strange though i used to get more than 20 replies or comments. However, when i post one or two big blogs and even getting few replied would help me earn lot of bucks.... Can anyone make me understand the earnings on mylot. I had talk with many people but no one gotta perect answer. Any reply would be greatly appreciated.
