What do you think are the best movies of 2008? I personally like Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Slumdog Millionaire, Never Back Down, and many more. How about you? What 2008 movies would you want to recommend?

I nominate "Wall-E" for best movie. The accompanying short "Presto" was nominated for an Oscar.
"Gran Torino" will be my second choice, tied with "Doubt"
"Vantage Point" was interesting, and despite the reviews I liked "Yes Man" -
For animated movies, "Kung Fu Panda", "Tales of Despereaux", and "Horton Hears a Who" deserve honorable mention - what can I say? I love animation. Unless it's crappy like "Escape to Africa"

Yes, I also enjoyed Benjamin Button and Slumdog Millionaire.
I also loved
There Will Be Blood (early 08 release)
Changeling
The Dark Knight (I usally dislike action movies)
But there or so many I still want to see: The Reader, Milk, Frost/Nixon, Wall-E
