Yes i do, I love everybody playing in the rain, not only kids. I even like old people playing in the rain.
My heart grows when I see that and I feel happy, cannot explain why.
somebody here said kids may get sick ... well, if they change their clothes quick enough, they don't get sick.
And, by the way, that's a special question from a special person i suppose.

Perhaps we have a different attitude here. Since I was little, I was told that I shouldn't play in the rain. Otherwise it is easy to catch a cold. So today if it rains, I will use umbrella and try not to get wet. So I won't let my child to play in the rain. There is an exception. As one day we went to swim but then later it rained. We still kept on playing in the swimming pool.
I love China

Hello sophie. I don't like my kid playing in the rain as I am afraid that he will get a cold because of the rain. I think that it is safer for him to stay away from the rain once it starts raining hard. But it is ok if it drizzles. Happy posting.

I used to like to play in the rain (yeah, am talking about me cause I don't have any kids). But then as I grew older, I realized that my environment also got a whole lot dirtier. The rain water isn't as good as it used to be. There's so many bad stuff that kids could swallow from rain water and if you noticed - many kids get sick after playing in the rain. If they do play in the rain, they should go straight to the shower for a clean bath.
Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Its because the air and water has been so polluted thats why.
We have learned from science classs that water evaporates into the air and fills the clouds that becomes rain.

I don't have kids yet but I also used to play in the rain when I was younger and honestly I missed it but I can't do that kind of thing anymore as a grown-up. I won't mind if my future kids will play in the rain as they will take a bath afterwards and change their wet clothes so that they can't catch colds.

Well, not really. I don't want them to play in the rain, so that they won't get sick. But doing the summertime, I don't mind them playing with the water with sprinklers. I sometimes think that the rain from the sky is not clean enough for them to play in.. I don't know why I think that, but sometimes I feel this way..

hi, well I don't allow my son to go out in rain as his very sensitive to cold and cough ...prevention is better than cure.

rain, i like rain, i mean, the clean rain.
You know, now there are dirty air in cities, and it would be dirty when it rains, especially the rain after long sunny day,and the air might be full of dirty and the rain would do harm to your children.
of course, i am afraid the kids would catch cold if they might have been playing in the rain for so long time.
so, care it, pls care for health of kids...

If its not cold rain I do. Not everytime but every once in a while. They LOVE it. I have them change into different clothes that we have designated for outdoor rain (lol) and then I make sure that as soon as they are done they come in a jump in a warm shower to avoid getting sick. I have tons of pics of them playing in the rain. Sometimes if we are driving and its raining and we arent going anywhere important I let them roll the windows down and get a little wet, again so long as it isnt cold rain. People have looked @ us while driving in the rain and laughed along with us. Its all in good fun!
I guess its all about letting them be kids and enjoy things....make memories! :0)
