whom do u prefer, a girl or a boy as ur child?

Wonderful topic ! I would like to have a girl if possible so that i can dress her up like we do with barbie girl, make her a princess adored by everyone . A boy is too trouble making so parents would be very annoyed to handle his troubles. Let me briefly introduce the Chinese tradition here: in China, many people mainly men hope to have sons so that the so called clan would be passed down generation by generation this way. These people go to such an extreme that they have one after another until they get a son, which causes the rural overpopulation. In cities, when boys grow up, they get married. and it is men who are supposed to buy a house which costs a big fortune. therefore, parents of sons have to save money since their sons are young. for girls' parents, they don't have that big worry.

I'd much rather have a boy, I'm the last in my family bloodline so I need a boy to keep my family going, plus, I'd be too paranoid about having a girl, girls are the ones that get sexually harrassed and assaulted, and guys play games with their emotions, with a boy, you dont have to worry as much.

I have always preferred having a girl instead of a boy for my child. But, now, it does not matter. I love all of my kids, and I would be very happy to have either or as of now. Just as long as my baby is happy and healthy, that is all that should matter.
