Do you sleep with pillow? or without pillow?
Me, im belong to the group who sleep with pillow. I cant sleep without it because since child, i always sleep with pillow. Without pillow, i cant fully sleep...
I may close my eyes and relax but i cant sleep without it.
In my bed, at least i have three to five big pillows. One for head, two for the sides and other one for the hugging and one where my feet to put. Hmmm...
In my family, i must be the princess of pillow because im the person who sleep with many pillows.
I do also want to sleep with my pillow only!
I dont know why, for me its totally difficult to sleep at others' house, even my grandpa's house. I just felt uncomfortable to sleep...
My pillow also has special aroma that can be recognized by me, i felt terrible to sleep without them. At least i need around 1 week to make new pillow to be familiar with me... Maybe its because the smell of my body will "stuck" in the pillow...
I just feel comfortable with that smell... clean smell...

i have the same problem with you about the knees. i cannot comfortable be lying in bed without a pillow in between them.
whenever i turn to one side or be upfront, cramps set in if there is no pillow in between them. searing pain follows. i have to call for my son's help whenever this happens.
i have been cutting off already on those uric acid rich foods and yet this condition goes on. i have also been giving myself those necessary massages before bedtime. this has alleviated the pains, though.

I can actually sleep with or without pillows. Especially when I am very tired, it doesn't matter if I have a pillow or not, as long as I am comfortable while I sleep.
I usually don't get to have a pillow since when I was a kid, we share a mattress that gets set on the living room. We siblings would just sleep there and the first one who gets to sleep often gets the most space and the comfortable position he or she could get.
Up to now, I could easily sleep with or without a pillow.. sofa, bed, as long as I am lying down.. (^_^ )

When I was young I slept with a pillow, then in my teens, I started sleeping on my arm under my head, don't know why. Then when I was married I slept with a pillow again, then after my divorce 5 years later, I started sleeping on my arm again, and that lasted about 5 years but now I am using a pillow again, and by the way, it is the very same pillow I had as a small kid! I have since sewed new covers for it but it is mine from my childhood!

i am a pillow person, too, manya. unlike you, though, i can sleep without any pillow at all but with much discomfort.
for me, my bed is heavenly if it is filled with a number of pillows. i love to throw myself in, targetting those pillows which are so soft and cuddly.
the one that i have by my head is a thin one, the thinnest in my bed. all the others are the big ones. i hug them, put my feet on them, whatever goes, whatever happens as i roll over the entirety of the bed as i sleep.
i think that i keep so much more pillows than you do, dear friend. i have more than a dozen in my bed. sometimes, the numbers get lessened. this happens when one of my kids will steal some pillows from me.

I cannot sleep without a pillow. In fact, it is a must that I sleep with at least two pillows - one should be under my head and one pillow should be hugged by me. I can't sleep without hugging a pillow.

Hi manya_pearl
I am quite choosy on pillows. I always sleeps on my pillow, I just remember that I brought my pillow to my grandma's home when I was a kid. My parents still laugh at that even now. I will try to sleep without my pillow tonite, as my mother advised me to do that to cure my pain on my neck.

Oh I have to sleep with a pillow. I have tried not sleeping with one and it is too uncomfortable for me. I don't know how people can sleep with out one. I need one under my head to cradle it so my neck and head are aligned.

I need two pillows to sleep. If I sleep with one pillow, I will snore, and if I sleep without a pillow, I dream that I am upside down. It happens every time so if my husband and I go on a trip and are in a motel that has only one pillow per occupant, I will put a book underneath the pillow because I like my head to be a bit higher then the rest of me.

Oh no, I can't sleep without my pillows. I have 6 pillows in my bed and I cannot live without them. My pillows is my com fort zone that's maybe I live my life alone since childhood. It makes me uncomfortable if I have only 1 pillow in my bed. At least 3 pillows will make me contented and fall asleep. I see to it that weekly I change my pillow case, so I can sleep comfortably.I can't live without my pillows, but I don't know maybe when I get married things will be might difficult for me but I am willing to give up my other pillows...hehehe..

Most of the time I sleep with a pillow. If my back starts to really hurt I sleep without one. I like when I flip the pillow over and its cold! Thats the best pillow to sleep on. I have a few big pillows and some little ones.

I love my pillow, but the thing is, i can still sleep without one. I may not enjoy it as much, but i still can deal with it. About the whole only MY pillow thing, i really don't care. Actually some others i like a lot more to sleep on than mine. I alwaysed liked new things so i guess it kinda works that way with pillows too.

I sleep with multiple pillows. This is a new thing, and I'm not sure why I've changed from one pollow to 2. It just happened. I even like to have one between my knees, but since my husband takes up so much space in our double bed (we're staying at his mom's for the time being....long story), I don't have that luxury anymore (he still does, for some reason). I've been to jail before and they DON"T give you pillows. That is the orst thing ever. You can buy them from the commissary, but they are the size of airplane pillows and are just plastic, no pillow case, no cloth, just plastic...not comfortable at all. So my answer to thi post is, Yes, for me, pillows ae a must. I've tried to sleep without one but to no avail.

hi manya_pearl,, my dear friend, i think i can sleep without a pillow, because i dont take any under my heaed and i dont even need any pillow either on my sides or under my feet. i dont even have any habbit of hugging and sleeping with a pillow. i sleep like a baby. carefree, without any tension . i just need my big bed and i dont like it to share with anybody. but now i am having a BABY so she sleeps with me. i love her and now i love to hug her also but because she is so young , i cant hug her, otherwise i dont hug anyone and sleep.

Hello my friend manya_pearl Ji,
I too would liketo use Pillow underneath my head. It gives me comfort . Also, I can
never change it, I can not use any other's pillow. But, I have also experienced, if
body needs rest, and as and when we are tired fully, we get sleep without even pillow.
Sometimes, people forget that pillows are an important part of bedding. While most of
us would find it virtually impossible to sleep without a pillow, it's not just because
a pillow is comfortable. The pillow is designed to support your head and neck while
you're sleeping. It's also designed to keep your spine properly aligned while you are
deep in slumber. If you find yourself plumping, reshaping, and adjusting your pillow
in an effort to get comfortable, or if you wake up achy, a good investment would be
purchasing pillows for side sleepers. For more you may Log on:http://www.sleep-better-pillow.com/pillows-for-side-sleepers.html
May God bless you and have a great time.

I can not sleep without a pillow as I lie too flat and get a back ache. I also like to sleep with my own pillow although I do not mind sleeping on Hubby's pillow as he likes the same type of pillow that I do and I suppose we've been together so long that it is "comforting" to me when he is not around, but when that is not possible then I use the one that I am provided at a hotel or someone elses house. I also can not sleep with a pillow that is too stiff or high because then I get a neck ache! ;)

I enjoy using a pillow when I sleep. I enjoy having two really soft pillows to lay my head on at night when I'm sleeping. I love feelings really comfy and it's easy for me to sleep better this way!
