hi friends i am very fond of sleeping during lectures in my college and during some conference or meeting. i get very bored to listen to speech of very vague topic. i use to sleep if it is unbearable or a too long speech. one day a conference about data mining was held in my college i didn't like the topic so i got sleepy and i slept at my place. after some time i was woke by my HOD. he asked me why i was sleeping but some how i managed by saying i was not well. share your experience while sleeping during a lecture. happy my lotting.

Hello my dear gangulydada7 Ji,
Well, during my service career, we were made to attend computer class in the after-noon
after our Lunch, I always used to have nap, regardless of important for me. I will
forget everything. But as this class was optional, we could sleep as well. It was not
made conpulsory to remain attentive throughout. I could never get 'What is RAM/ROM'
till date. So sleeping in any class at any age has no boundaries. I remember, while
marching in rank/File, people have good nap in between. may god bless you and have a
great time.

i rarely sleep during lectures but there was one lecture in college physics that was about 2 or 3 pm (sleepy hours of the day after lunch) and the topic was boring that i could not help but fall asleep. i sort of lost it while staring at the board. luckily when i opened my eyes the professor was still lecturing and did not scold me and i was refreshed and paid attention this time around

I dislike boring lecturers and trainers intensely - sometimes I feel that I can read those notes or presentation slides without having to go through such tortuous sessions. However there are certain seminars/conferences/workshops that have to be boring due to the subject matter, especially on technical topics. I remembered attending one on Managing Cashflow - dry topic! But the trainer was really good - he added activities, case studies and discussions to make the subject more interesting, and most of us ended up with at some useful knowledge and application.

I would never sleep during class. First off it is to expensive to not pay attention. On the other hand I have class mates that sleep and no offense but just stay home, I know that you would rather be somewhere else so go and have fun but stop snoring while I am trying to learn. It is rude.
Have a great day!!

at my pharmacology class in college, the topic was so boring. were discussing about bacterial life, as if im interesting!!(hehehe). i try not to sleep becoz im in front seat, my prof would easily see me if i sleep. so i excuse myself to go to CR. and in one of the cubicle there i actually sleep. a harsh knock on the doctor awakes me and when i return to our classroom, our prof was gone. i found out that our pharma class was ended earlier. hehehe
