i rarely eat them ,because we will get more calories from them .
as indian i like to make curries with potatoes rather than french fries. i don;t eat oily stuff like french fries, and other oily food .but i will take potatoes as a curry weekly once or twice.
i think all potatoes will give more calories. so take potatoes in less quantity.not daily.
Notice that almost all the small-size package of fries are separated by only a few calories. If you're dining out, as a quick rule of thumb, one french fry generally equals about 10 calories. When nothing but french fries will hit the spot, opt for the small size which can save a lot of calories - sometimes over 300 calories!

I rarely get fast food, so I am not too worried about the caloric value of the food since it is a special treat. It is pathetic when you see pools of grease in the bottom of your french fry container, however it is so worth it when I taste them. And I especially enjoy fries dipped in a chocolate milkshake or even better, ranch dressing.
yumyum

Yes, they certainly are yummy. A couple ways to reduce calories is use veggie oil instead of animal oil, use less salt as there are other seasonings that are just as good and salt free, and broil in the oven rather than fry them. They still taste good oven baked and it's not like you can't use any ketchup. Course not using any sauce could reduce calories, but if you portion it right, it shouldn't be any problem.

hi, triptadasgupta, yes, it's very hard to resist, very yummy.
and about the calories, I think it is very high, therefore,
I only let myself have it on sunday only, no french fries on weekdays.
