Pogo prizes

I have been playing games for months and noticed something. I would see IMs on the chat box about someone winning a hat prize, a shirt or a mug. Makes me wonder more is about the jackpot. It can reach to about 4999 dollars! I was wondering how you can win these things and do they really send them to you? Because like the jackpot, it can be really great. Imagine getting all that money for just playing. I am also curious if anybody knew anybody winning this much.
I asked my hubby about it and he gave it some thought too but said he really never bothered to know. He said he is more interested in playing and not winning. All he is into too is getting those badges.
Hope someone would spare some time to give me some info. Happy MyLotting folks!

That's really good to know that someone did actually get their big prize. I've read many times about people being accused of cheating as well. Of course they swear they weren't but we can't tell unless we know them personally. Thanks for letting us know about your friend.

The jackpots that you win during game play, well that's just really random luck of the draw I think. I think people just happen to be playing at the right time and the spin is set to go off when they get a jackpot and they win. However, the raffles, well that's also just luck of the draw. I don't think tokens has anything to do with gameplay jackpots.
Now, I've heard a lot of bad things about the pogo jackpots. I've heard that Pogo tends to not send the huge jackpots to people and claims that they were cheating when they won the jackpot and says they use a special software to check for cheaters and because you were cheating with that account, they can't send you any money and you'll never ever be able to win with that screen name so people get cheated out of their money. If you search the net you'll find a lot of instances were people said they win and never recieve their money because Pogo claims they were cheating to win.
Now, my grandfather won $5 during a game jackpot spin. He did recieve that check in the mail and cashed it without a problem. I think it's just the huge amounts of money they don't like sending to people.

Oh my!!! That's not nice at all. It made me really wonder though. 4999 is such a big amount of money and can make you think twice if they really can payout bigtime. Thanks so very much for the info...it is so nice of you to take time to enlighten me. I may as well enjoy playing the games and hope I won't hit that jackpot spin..LOL. I appreciate your response really. Thanks and have a nice day!

That answered my question too..I figured it had to be something else to that because everytime I was there, the jackpot was high and nobody ever said anything about winning it or having anything to do with it...in fact, they don't even talk about the jackpot so that should have told me something...

The last time I was on that site, I read something about the tokens that you win while you are playing the games and how they have something to do with winning the jackpots...from what I read, the tokens buy tickets and its something like a raffle. I am starting to think that only the people who have the paid membership get the mugs and things like that...I was wondering how they won the stuff too..

I've been on pogo for a while and ive asked alot of people if they've won anything at all, alot of the people have been playing for years, and all they've won is backgrounds for their comp that is it, do i believe pogo is legitimate yes, but the chances of winning the jackpot is about 1 in 1000000000000000000000000000000000000 so dont plan on winning anything, just save up your tokens and buy alot of the tickets for one of the drawings, thats what im currently doing.
