This afternoon I met my friends parents while returning home after college. Its going to holidays for the nest week till Wednesday so we celebrated Holi in college today and we are all looking like colourful ghosts! They saw me and hugged me then and there cause I have topped my department without even bothering that my friend didn't do so well. There love and happiness was genuine and it made me feel so touched that I can't explain. They took us out along with my other friends for a lunch and guess what the people in restaurants looked at us and gave hilarious looks as our faces were all blue and red and pink and green!

It was a great feeling to top the department. I expected to get a good result as my lab exams had gone well but TOP is like "sone pe suhaga". Happy Holi to you and yeah I will celebrate Holi again on the real day so it will be double celebration for me!

I am glad that you posted this because I had never heard of this festival before today. It sounds like a lot of fun and very meaningful. I'm glad your friend's parents were nice to you, they are probably glad their child has such a nice companion.

Its a festival of colours where you celebrate putting ABIR(colours) on the people you love or know.A way to celebrate he season and also the win of good on evil. Her parents really love me and it made me feel great. She was getting really jealous though!
