paying social networking sites?

what social networkign sites really pay? i have seen a few posts about some but im hearing that they pay and then im hearing that they dont so please let me know which ones really pay :)

Mypage5 is a social networking site which really pays their user.I posted payment proof in myblog. so no need to worry.but now they put some cap as people spamming them.but if you can join then please join through banner in my blog I need 2 referrals to win the referral contest.

they pay by paypal or cheque. first payment is immediate.its like facebook myspace.

Offhand, the only one that I can think of right now is Gather, I'm sure there are more, but that's the only one that pops up right now.

Well, from reading the topic, I thought you are talking about the sites which asks us to pay money so that they can find friends for us. Just like "Adultfriendsfinder.com".
I don't know any social site which is paying. I don't think they need to pay. I mean facebook, hi5 etc are earning a lot, without paying. Why would they add payment to this site?
