I came to know Amazon.com has sold nearly 300,000 of its Kindle eBook readers since it introduced the device earlier this year. Books are printed on paper. Books are heavy. e-Books need energy. e-Books have no resale value. So what is your prefer media to reading books? E-books or books?

i would rather have a print book just because ebooks are not portable. i take a book to read on the bus while going to and from work and i cannot do that with an ebook and you cant take an ebook to the beach!

Yea, I agree to your idea. E-books can be making as portable with some kind of machine. Like laptop. But it needs power to continue. It is problem. But if we use e-books we can send it to another by using free email service or file transfer system quickly. But printed book has not that power. And some printed books are heavy weight.

I much prefer a paper printed book...THey are much more portable..I can curl up, turn over, sit up, lay down, and the book can come with me!!..I would have trouble doing that with an e-book! I just dont find reading e-books that interesting either. TO me its not like reading a book and I want it to hurry up and be over. Its also harder on the eyes

Yea. your idea is correct. all of people like to read printed books insted of e-books. it is hard to read and need to work with some kind of machine. I think e-books can't be king among the readers.

Yea, I also got use to read books like you. I think e books can never be king of among readers. If you need to read e books you have to use computer or any other electronic instrument. it need power. if power is not there no reading.

I personally like paper printed books better because when I want to read I don't really like doing it off of a computer screen. Staring at a screen for too long starts to hurt my eyes and I'm just kind of a fan of the conventional style of reading through actual books.

In my case i also like to use printed books. i usually read books at the bed. So it is difficult to read e-books at the bed. :)

Definitely a real book. I'm sorry, but staring at a computer screen (or even a phone-screen) for an extended amount of time just gives me a headache. There is an Amazon electronic (not totally sure how it works or what it is), that is handheld & you can take with you wherever you go - but I just feel like reading out of an actual book is a better experience for me. And plus, I'm already on the computer for at least a couple hours a day, so why torture my poor eyes even more by reading e-books?

Both are useful, but i prefer printed books than e-books. Printed book is eyes friendly, it is heavy, thats right, but it is safe for our eyes. The most thing i hate from e-book is it irritates my eyes because i have to watch the screen of my computer all the time. How long we can take to look at computer screen.. But, e-book of course has positive sides, it can be copied in a big amoung in the short time. And send it by email or any softwares to wherever and whenever you want. It also can be saved into cellphone.

Of course, and also we have to use power to read e-books. so we have to pay. And also if power is cut, people can’t read :). No need of e-books for rural areas which it doesn't have power.

honestly, i prefer paper books. Why? Because it is portable and i don't have to carry an electronic device around. Staring at the screen for too long isn't very good for my eyes. But i normally read via ebooks because i can get them for free. That's about the only advantage i can think of.
