I am thinking of selling my daughter's clothes which have been piling up in her dresser and I consider selling it through ebay philippines. I am not sure though if there are many ebay buyers in the philippines. Any one who have experienced buying or selling in ebay? Your advice please. Thank you and happy mylotting.

I have bought a couple of items from e-Bay and was extremely happy. On the other hand, I haven't sold anything on e-Bay. So many people tell me that e-Bay users will buy anything. I know one friend who bought a trunk for a few dollars and sold it for over $500. Quite a profit. I have a nephew who makes a living selling car and computer items on the site. I know someone else who buys and sells baseball cards on the site. So, I know the opportunity is there to make some money. I have some crafts that I'm going to place on e-Bay eventually. A friend is going to help me set it all up and get started. I need to learn all the details about e-Bay and go to their "help" section and read. Hope you do well if you decide to sell your daughter's clothes.

I also heard from some of my friend that they enjoy ebaying. Some have sold and some simply bought. I also read from magazines that many have made good selling stuffs in the internet through ebay. Anyway, there is no harm in trying. Thanks for responding.

i had purchased a few from ebay already. locally and internationally. locally i bought a flash light for my bike, a small purse, nail cutters, shreck small tumblers. so i guess you can try but if you have a lot to sell might as well try to have a garage sale too. that might be a faster way than ebay. goodluck.

Thanks for responding. At first, I thought of having a garage sale but not sure yet of it. I then thought of ebay thinking that this is abetter venue since I won't have any hassle setting up the place and attending to it. Have a nice day.

yes very true that you will not set up anything when you post at ebay... but you have to go to LBC or JRS once a buyer payed for the item. you need to mail the item to them. thats what i mostly do when purchasing somethig on ebay. i dont go up and meet them.... they just send the purchased product to me. goodluck. please notifu me when you post at ebay.... i want to check it out.

I do have fun looking at all those items being sold. I will definitely get a try on the items being sold and I will make my bid one of these days.

hmm...I am not sure about selling them on ebay. Have you looked around your town to see if there is a resale shop for children's clothing? Here in the states, we have many such shops known as consignment shops. The owners will take in the clothing and sell them for you and then you and she split the profits. You will get more for them than you would at garage sales. These stores are also an excellent source for purchasing clothes for growing little girls!

I talked to a friend of mine today that lives in Peru. She said she has sold her little girls things on Ebay and has done fairly well. She did say that it helps to have a really good digital camera and take photos of the clothes from both sides and have them on hangers so they can be seen well.

there is no such kind of shop here. I wish there is one because I'm sure many would think of consigning their clothes too. I will think again of having a garage sale. thanks for responding.

Hi there, I myself is a seller at ebay philippines and at the same time a buyer. There are many consumers who buy online. Try posting your stuff at ebay and at the same time at multiply.com. Its a popular marketplace right now, mostly yuppies are on it. Good luck!

There is no harm in trying. .. Get started at ebay for that may be where you will earn big money. I would also be doing that in ebay, in fact I have already started taking pictures of the dresses which I will sell. Good luck to both of us.

I haven't tried yet but a friend of mine have. She bought 2 canon digital cameras. One is a Digital SLR. At first my friend is afraid that the items will not arrive or a damage one. But to her surprise, it is a brand new one and the price is much cheaper.

I also have that fear of buying through ebay. But I will also have my day at ebay, it could either be buying or selling, whichever will come first. Have a good day.

Hello my friend Suzzy. thanks for reminding me about the fees. The last time I checked about the fees, it was just reasonable and that was years ago. I hope they haven't increased the rates so I can post more. I will check it again.

Hmm.. I am a buyer not a seller, though I plan selling some of stuffs. Hehehe. Ebay is sometimes safe and sometimes not. So you have to check first everything before you sell and buy, to avoid complications.
