I could live without conflict, jealousy, backbiting, hate, negativity, mean things, etc. I could live without having to lock cars, houses, lockers, etc. I could live without dishonesty. Hmmmm. I can't imagine what it would be like to deal on the business level and actually be able to trust what you are being told. How about the government. How about anywhere we go. Can you imagine if we all had to be honest all the time. Ooooops! That would be hard for all of us, but it would be a fun experiment.

LOL, I think I could live without dust and dog poop too. I suppose I could name a million things I could live without but one that comes to mind is hard water. We have really hard water here (lots of minerals and such) and I hate the spots and scum it leaves behind on the taps and on the sink. It isn't too nice on the skin and hair either.

I could live without the dust as well - it seems to be drawn in to our house at a very high speed ;) even if a do vacuum every day - it piles up to the next! I could live without the disches as well and the picking up after cooking and baking, I could live without having to worry for money or sickness. I could live without the snow and the very long winters and the darkness in the winter. THere are many things - just like you!

I agree with both of you but there is somsething else that I could live without that drives me crazy. My middle daughter has the habit of including the question "Know what I mean?" at the end of every other sentence when she talks to me on the phone. I've told her how irritating that is....I've tried answering "NO!" just to see if it has an effect on her but it's a habit and nothing I try stops it. She's 1,000 miles away so we talk on the phone several times a day and it's soooo irritating....know what I mean?

I could live without small talk. It is uneeded for me, although for some people it is helpful to get past awkwardness and break the ice. But I don't enjoy it, I would rather just get right down to what I care about knowing. And during small talk you can't really be honest about anything really going on.

I could live without Tax. That'd be wonderful right about now. Following spalladino's choice of topic, people constantly saying "uh" or "uhm" when they're trying to think of what to say next... there's no point, so why do it?

Oh yes... count me in for living without dust and dog poo... and tailgaters... ambulance-chasing personal injury lawyers... reality TV... rollmop herrings... people spitting in the street... council tax.... and, of course, all the world problems of violence, greed, famine etc etc
