What links CAN we post?

I know we can't post affiliate links but I'm not sure what that means, as I've seen links to blogs etc embedded in posts. Are we allowed to put links for things non-payment related? E.g. if I took a cute photo of my bunny, or a video was uploaded to youtube, could I put a link in on my post about my pet? What IS allowed, as I'm confused! I've seen e.g. links for ptc sites get through okay - MyLot seemed to ignore them though they probably get deleted eventually - but does this extend to e.g. work posted on a non-paying blog or another forum? i.e. a 'hey look what I did!' kind of link? Just asking!

I think you should not post any link which is related to paying. But personal links you can post.

I could be wrong on this, and someone correct me if I'm wrong. But, I think that it pretty much has to be a 'personal site' as in, not something that you are just using people to make money off of. I have affiliate links on my site, but I'm offering a service. I'm offering the whole picture, information on what to look out for, some ideas to budget money, freebie searching, frugal living, and more. I think that as long as you weren't hussling money from people as part of your link, I would imagine it to be totally okay!

Thanks for that. No, it would just be daft things like a Youtube link showing my silly bunny wrestling with a rubber glove, or maybe a shot of my son blowing his own trumpet (lierally!)

I am assuming that you can post a link about your pet. I don't see what wrong it can do. I am confused at times on what is acceptable and not acceptable. So, I hope that another member can answer this question for you.
